I’ve tried most of the styles out there. I have bought my own mold and use the Victory hooks for an ewg weedless Ned rig. No glue is needed and it comes through stuff that other styles just can’t. BRB check your pm.

6317 BN is the hook number. I got mine from Zeiner’s in Wichita KS. You don’t have to have a Midwest finesse ewg mold. You can modify most any mold. It just has to be ground down to where the hook fits before the bend. I used my old Midwest finesse mold and had a guy at a machine shop grind it. I didn’t want the keepers and wasn’t sure how the hook eye would fit so I used high temp silicone to fill in some voids.

I sent several reels to a guy to be cleaned, super tuned and install ceramic bearings. I didn’t see much difference. I’d just put good abec bearings in.

Those look like they would get the job done. I don’t have those kinds of knives but I keep a folding knife and a fillet knife in the boat and carry my Uncle Henry Rancher and a Swiss army knife all the time.

That sure looks like centrifugal brakes to me. The way I clean them is take a clean dry Qtip and wipe the drum. Then put a little Shimane oil on a Qtip and wipe the drum. How many of the brakes do you have set to engage the drum? You may want to experiment with that.

Once I rig them they stay on until I lose them no matter what season.

90% of my fishing time is spent fishing on or near the bottom. My 6 best setups are for bottom contact Some of them do double duty but each of them has a specific bottom contact job.

I have not used that particular hook but I have been using their hooks for several months and find them to be of very good quality.
