    Merry Christmas
  2. @Glenn After reading the whole thread......you could tear up a digging iron. πŸ˜…
  3. I forgot back straps, tackle bag, cell phone, Polarized subscription sunglasses " worst " and forgot to unplug the batteries.....drug the extension cord for quite aways. Good news ! All this didn't happen on the same trip
  4. Use the Plano and cut groove with utility knife.
  5. The ending to the Steelers Lions game was crazy. And why is Trevor Lawrence suddenly legit ❓ And Barkley found his legs ❓ Rodgers turning back time. Never seen a year where whoever is in can run the table. At least it ain't the Chiefs 😁
  6. I have migrated over to finesse techniques more and more over the past couple of years and it's really paid off, especially numbers. Ned rig was really productive this year. I'll never give up my beloved spinnerbaits and soft jerkbaits but finesse fishing in our clear waters will be a mainstay. Don't forget about drop-shot.
  7. My long time fishing partner stays on plane to within 25 yards of where we're going to start fishing sending waves. I've always wondered why I catch twice as many fish fishing solo.
  8. I'm not married to any brand, have many different brands from 13fishing to Okuna and many in-between. Shimano just feels better, spinning and casting.
  9. @TnRiver46 That deck is missing a ledger board, it's what the joist hangers should have been attached to. Instead the builder skipped the ledger board and attached the hangers directly to the siding, strange. Here you can see what I'm talking about. Edit..... zoomed it up, looks like siding was cut around joists so not what I originally thought.
  10. I sort by size but in their original packaging. Have a fairly large tackle bag and all the outside zippered pockets consist of soft plastics. Left side is Senko's, mag worms and craw imitations, mainly brushhogs and creature. Large center pocket is all finesse, Neds, Flickshake, Robo worms, small craws and everything I'd use for drop-shot. Right side is all soft jerkbaits and swimbaits.
  11. Tennessee ain't that far, bought my boat there " Bunch marine" . Been there for 2 of my favorite people...... Charles Lawson and Kenny Chesney. Heard of them ❓ lol
  12. It's not that hard, really. Lag bolt directly to the ledger board around the sub floor. Pull a string with a level to outside of deck to get your drop, 1/4 is enough. Back to kayaks, sold all mine πŸ˜…
  13. Right up there with that Tua contract πŸ˜…
  14. I understand the importance of exercise. Have been an avid mtnbiker for many years and do so weekly. BUT MAN do I love sausage eggs and fried potatoes, pizza and cheese burgers. Retired 6 years ago at 6' 180 lbs. Today I'm 6' 180 lbs. 😁
  15. Gotta love this time of year. Big games with playoff implications and big college games starting tonight πŸ‘

I'm more of an Owner, Gama, Vmc user but can't say I've had any issues with their baits or hardware. Also like XPS baits. I use nothing but screw locks for Shaky. OH, a big no to Elaztech on screw locks but otherwise love the stuff.
  17. It's common place around here. I was gone for 3 weeks in November and she's leaving for NY day after Christmas. Communication is key. Enjoy your trip and be safe.
  18. Not to dismiss the advantages of a kayak, glad to hear most enjoy them. Years ago after having kids and working long hours, sold my bass boat. As free time became more available I dabled into kayaks. What I noticed right away was my casting accuracy took a dive from the lower position. Skipping was out of the question. My last kayak was motorized and very stable but attempting to stand was quite entertaining. 😁 I don't have a bad back but felt like I did after 2 hours...... yes I'm 65. Soon as I retired, bought a bass boat and sold both kayaks and a Bass Raider. Will admit though, if I didn't have indoor storage which eliminates many of the conveniences of owning a boat, I wouldn't have bought one. Just back it in , unhook and walk inside. Enjoy what you have and be thankful.
  19. Hi

    Welcome aboard πŸ‘
  20. Been thinking about it mainly due to the fact I've migrated to mostly finesse over the last couple of years. Can you actually get a vertical fall after the cast without manually running line out ❓
  21. That is a horrific scene 😳
  22. When I bought a motorized kayak in 2020 I deliberately bought a seeable πŸ‘€ color. Only had it 2 years before getting a bass boat.
  23. Hate to see any athlete injured but the Parsons injury is more significant from a playoff standpoint.
  24. Maybe being an NFL QB ain't all that. Grandpa moving the ball against the Hawks 🧐. Montana on the phone right now. πŸ˜‚ Jk
