  1. Gone are the days the NFC east was the most feared division in football. 10 times sent a team to Superbowl from 1981 - 1996.

Be careful when unhooking them, they bite.
  3. I also feel great remorse for the fish, they haven't a chance. Just yesterday I went to dead sticking in the midst of fight just to even the odds......I few got off, I felt better. ?
  4. Hard to answer. October is back and forth from treestand to bass boat. November is all treestand. Warm days in December, fishing then really don't fish again until March.

1991 when Lonnie Smith cost the Braves the WS......Frozen at third because he lost track of the ball.

    Yep, base running the difference.
  7. Congrats to you and the girls, that's the way to end the season.
  8. It's hard to even relate to that kind of fishing success, wow. Congrats
  9. Much prefer to fish alone, like the peice. Never in my life have I mixed fishing with alcohol hence the reason I fish alone. Love my friends but no beer coolers in my boat.......yes, fishing is fun but take it serious.
  10. Everytime I hear knuckleball I can't help but think of Tim wakefield, longevity but monster home runs.
  11. These skunked threads are very telling and the fact that I respond is very telling. Ok I'm not saying. Lol It was a bite, not a snag !
  12. Sorry Bill's fans, good squad but AFC is to loaded......Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers, Titans are all better.
  13. I usually direct tie a spinnerbait but seldom have issues with a clip with casting gear. Throw spinnerbaits year around, mostly KVD and Terminator. Wish there were a fishing tackle hall of fame......spinnerbait would have been inducted.

Growing up, breaking old 8# Stren with a Zebco that had a terrible drag was a daily event on any fish with size. It happened so often I became desensitized to it....oooops there she went again.
  15. I fish year around here In VA but regardless what anyone says, Jan and Feb are very slow and skunks are expected. Still better than sitting at home.
  16. Reminiscent of Eddie George.
  17. Only bait I have in PB&J is ZinkerZ and noticed I've ordered them several times this year so that color must be effective in the clear water they're thrown in or would not have reordered.
  18. Bird replied to gbassman519's topic in Fishing Tackle
Wow, that had to be exciting on light tackle.
  19. Um let's see......against the Jets in SB. Lol
  20. I'd say you need to start south of VA.....I get skunked a lot in February.
  21. I too have yet to throw an A-rig but it's quite obvious that they can be productive. Really nice Smallmouth for sure.
  22. It's safe to say the majority of major rivers flow south. Ironically the river I grew up on " North fork Shenandoah " flows entirely north for 116 miles until dumping into the south Fork.
  23. I do the same thing. Whenever I'm fishing a new body of water, always observe it from Google earth and also look for topo maps with listed depth.
  24. Catt, it's not to must to ask but life can be very unforgiving at times. Hold your head up and keep contributing to your community and the things you love to do and share your experiences so we may gain some emotional advantage. Certainly been tough down there.
  25. Hope you have great weather and set them drags. Lol
