I found this Legend Tournament 7’1” MF casting rod on Craigslist for $80. Go to look at it and the reel seat is upside down. I tell him that and he says oops I just reglued it with gorilla glue. It hadn’t hardened up yet so I put it in place like it should be. I wasn’t planning on buying it and then we started talking. Come to find out he was so down on his luck he was selling it for food money. He just lost his son 6 months ago ( I lost my son 2 years ago) and brought his daughter in-law and 3 kids into his home while he has no job because of the shut downs. So I bought it. What type of adhesive do I use?

I went creek fishing for trout yesterday. 35° @2:00 and falling till dark. It rained and snowed. I tried some 2mil latex gloves with a liner glow over them. It worked for awhile but the hooks would get stuck in the gloves. I ended up just using the latex gloves. My hands were cold but not that bad because they were dry. Other guy’s hands that was with me were red and painful because his were wet. I just bought these but the fingers are 1” longer than my fingers so I don’t think they’ll work. I love the Shimano Sedona. I have 3. 1 of them is over 25 years old. They are a little more than you want to spend. but... if I need another I might have to check out Michigander’s Sienna

BPS had them on sale for the 299. I used that to price match at TW. They are even sending me the new (not much) vivid model even though BPS had the old model.

I always used Berkley clear-blue line but now it doesn’t seem that they sell it anymore. I just ordered some Berkley Transoptic clear-gold to try. I’ve never tried the high vis solid colors. I guess I feel if I can see it underwater so can the fish. But does it really matter?

what’s a “Mop Jig”?

After reading responses I went to TW to look at football head jigs but started thinking maybe I already have some in the “extra extra jig box”. Sure enough I found these. 6- 1/2 and 7- 3/4oz football jig heads. I have some living rubber that I can tie to them also

Is there any big improvements/differences between the older model and the new vivid model? BP had the old model on BF sale for 299.98. I called TW to price match and they did but it’s the new vivid model

@WRB so the football head is better at horizontal retrieves. How about if it’s soft bottom?
