  1. I couldn't find any Brass spacers for calories rig, I found some in BP but they look like washers, Ive seen thicker ones that made good noice with glass bids before. they call it Brass Carolina Ticker
  2. My Conquest 842C Here, Thank to RDB that made me make my final decition, I bought the line as well, I only need to wait about 40 days so 21 Antares DC will be available and send to me. I assume 10lb test is good for this combo right?

  6. Firs read about E Glass and S Glass rods. then remember we have glass rods and glass and carbon, or glass and graphite mixes as well. I am fan of S Glass(S-Glass, carbon graphite composite blank)rods for cat fishing, they are Moderate and Moderate fast action.
  7. You'll be surprise how you can get bite by straight retrieve sometimes, Specially very fast burning it back. Try that also. Specially over the grass.

  9. Thats a good point
  10. 3" swimbait to find them would be good.
  11. Today I was fishing and I did Texas rig craw style zoom just to practice and tune my new Antares DC, So I grab that just randomly. I cast about 1 hour and I didn’t get any bite. I always use soft swim bait there and most of the times, so I change to 6” swim bait and 3rd cast I catch fish. I was thinking that I was more successful with fish/bait fish imitators more than craw style. I can say the only time of year I have luck with them is in summer, but any other time of year I didn’t have a chance with them. I’ll set worms aside which they work year round. do you agree with me? If not please let me know about your own experience.

  14. I really taking good care of all my gear, some of them are in my car 24/7 all rod and reels cover. but my really high end combos are in my bedroom, last thing I look at before sleep and first things in morning when I open eyes. Haha.... I take them to car and put them inside car not at back when travel, But I really using them all the time. even I told to my son what to do if I drop dead anytime
  15. You might reconsider, I found that is important tool.
  16. The conquest rods are 10gr lighter than NRX, If there was no conquest, for sure I would have all my rods NRX, Pretty close to. Conquest.

  18. You know, honestly I never try magabass, I was shimano guy always, but for me is rod being light weight and casting performance is matter and I found that both in conquest, oh and there is something else, the rod is scratch proof somehow, I have rod for two years and it is my go to rod, I mean for last two years I put it’ in my truck 3 to 5 times a week and put it on ground or anything else as bank fisherman you’ll do to your rod, and it doesn’t have any scratch on it.
  19. You mean rod overkill for technique? No I don’t think because I have 4 conquest for everything till 3oz now, I wish they had 906/907/908 as well for my big swim baits. the best thing I love in conquest is weight, they feel nothing in your hand, and for some injured person is really necessary. Well I am using conquest pretty much for everything till 3oz.
  20. I have that, but it is not so handy to grip the fish at first, you need to get the fish and bring it to the boat and bank, then grip it and weight it.
  21. https://www.amazon.com/227863-Rapala-Digital-Fish-Gripper/dp/B00F5EK466/ref=sr_1_7?crid=38CTO8F3WR7UD&dchild=1&keywords=rapala+fish+gripper&qid=1616330683&sprefix=rapala+fish%2Caps%2C246&sr=8-7 I think this one is good.
