  2. It is not what I did, But I am going to do Jig, I don't know why I never had any chance with jig, maybe because I didn't get to situation to use it. So this year I am going to have one rod combo only jig on it, and try it everyday. I aim sure ill get results and ill be glad to give it second chance.
  3. I have digital Rapala as well , but usually want it for bigger fish and emergency. I wish we had those stripers here in SoCal.
  4. If you pond fishing, go with 6'6" if you are on big lake open area go with 7', M power in some brands and MH in some brands, Depending on your brand because power is not really standard in every line of rod.
  5. Just get it from manufacturer. Thats what I do.
  6. 5.5lb Rainbow, My son got it on 4lb test.
  7. I research a lot about it last month, Lip Gripper and scale. 1- I like the mechanical, so nothing bulky and need battery. The reason for that is I Catch a fish and it was big and I wanted ti weight and found out I am out of battery. 2- I want to use it for everything including stripers, So I needed something at least 50lb. 3- I wanted something from relieble, yet not pricy brand. Combined all of the above, I Came to Rapala mechanical scale/gripper. Very hard to find but worthy to look for. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Rapala_Mechanical_Fish_Gripper/descpage-RMFG.html
  8. Should I go with 10lb test TATSU? 10" you meant right? :=D
  9. Even i have most expensive glides I don't think I am buying this, because they made of leather, I don't know if I have some very extra money I would buy it to hang it on wall LOL

  11. It is conquest 903C, You guess really good, Same thing. Fast Rod Tip.
  12. That one was toro T2 brand new I bought and have something loose in it, Like bearing or something, So when you are using it, It will have that sound. Now I have T3 and I hope this one works like what you said. This is the T3 that they replace for me. What is your TORO? T2 or T3?
  13. I had redo Toro Beast T2 61 and got problem in it after couple trips, sent twice and they couldn't fix it and they send me back a used T3 which I am using fo Large swimbaits. See the video I record and sent to Abu aria after first time they claim to fix it, BTW it takes 3 months to do that, So I am really done with them long time ago and I only use Shimano reels. I highly suggest to don't buy Abu, it is like gamble. You might win.
  14. Being in Socal I needed something exactly like that, I got the G-Loomise Conquest 905For that, I am really happy with it. It has ability to cast far, Also very sensetive, and have fast taper. I got the best all around(except pricing).
  15. I stick to FG, Time consuming but easy and it is 100%(figure of speech)
  16. I am using this one, pack of three from tackle warehouse good for hook and drop shot https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Cal_Coast_Fishing_Cali_Clip_Hook_Keeper_3pk/descpage-CCFC.html

  18. ++your post is in wrong category, it need to be in other spiecies++ ok I am in trout fishing a lot and it is my second favorite fishing after bass fishing. If you really want the best, go to Varivas brand, They start to sell in USA snd you no longer need to buy it from Japan. in my bait casting set ups I am using Varivas 9lb strait to the lure and I can tell you it is the best. Also I use 4.2lb Flouro which is perfect. If you are using spinning set up, and want to use trout magnet 1/64oz, I suggest you do 2lb test S.O.S with 2lb test S.O.S leader(flouro).
  19. sorry it was Shimano, the one I lost: https://www.amazon.com/SHIMANO-0068-2692-Atad006Bk-Stainless-Power/dp/B01J6AV10W/ref=asc_df_B01J6AV10W/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312065559007&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=18165072616031307199&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031158&hvtargid=pla-570418233544&psc=1
  20. I had gamigatsu smaller size, it was very good till I lost it, and I got this one which I found is for bigger split rings, So make sure you get the right size, because bigger ones cant open up small rings easy.
  21. if you want high end, I have this rod for few years and I cant say enough about it, https://www.amazon.com/World-SHAULA-Tour-Edition-1652R-4/dp/B00SZKVVLE/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=shimano+world+shaula+tour+edition&qid=1618836248&sr=8-4 if you want to go cheap but good rod, go with St. Croix Legend Trek, I have some for sale in Flea market also. Take look at it.Like new excellent condition.
  22. I am full cork guy, But sometimes you don't have that option, Like my 908 Dobyns champion, or my spinning Conquest 842 that split cork handle. I really don't know why but I feel much better using full cork handles.
