I understand that and I'm not buying the walmart junk. I've got a buddy who loves flannel who has had problems with high dollar flannel shrinking from various brands. He pointed me to legendary white tails because hes had good luck with them. I'm pretty sure it was my washing and drying technique.

Coming into shrinkage season for us up here buddy...some of us already don't have much to lose! Perfect...I was thinking hang drying was probably the ticket. I also read you should wash flannel with cold water instead of warm or hot.

So lately I've been wearing lots of flannel. Today I washed one and when I pulled it from the dryer it had shrunk. I washed it in warm not hot water and also dried it on the lowest heat setting. No big deal because my girlfriend likes that particular color and it looks cute on her so I gifted it to her. That said I don't want to keep experiencing this. So for you flannel aficionados what's the trick to cleaning and drying flannel without downsizing it?

What age do they suggest getting these shots?

Long underwear bottoms with under armour jogging pants...long sleeve shirt with a carhartt hoodie...carhartt hat ...wool socks and work boots...light gloves like some sun gloves. Can hack that down to high 30s if the wind ain't horrible. Plan to fish that way Friday..cloudy and high of 44.

Me and the girlfriend love Halloween...its my favorite holiday hands down and probably her 2nd favorite. We usually have plenty of kids stop by because she's lead teacher at the daycare in town. This year she's off at noon and I'm off all day so our plan is to make a bunch of snack type food, hand out candy and watch Halloween 1, 2 and H2O as a trilogy.

For you guys fishing channel cats...what water temp seems to be the cutoff in the fall? I've been focusing on walleye and sauger mostly with a few days of bass mixed in here and there. Wondering if catfish would still be worth targeting. My local water temps are high 40s/low 50s from what I've heard.

I get this but also think how much ill regret not going on a nice day because I called it just so I can go out on a high note. The not knowing to me is more bothersome than trying and failing.

Only bass stuff I really take in these days is YouTube videos and stuff on here. I will say I've heard from multiple people who read alot they still prefer holding a book instead of a phone or kindle. My girlfriend reads constantly but can't stand digital books...says it just doesn't feel right.

I will say this I've noticed when throwing a kastmaster for trout or skip jack silver is better on sunny days and gold is better on cloudy days.

My bass fishing has sucked for the past 6-7weeks. I went from 4-8 bass every trip to 2 fish in 5 trips. Couple weekends back I got 3 one day then went back last weekend and nada. What have I done to combat this? Started fishing the river for catfish and when it started to cool off 3 weeks ago I switched to walleye and sauger.

I've ordered from Mike @Siebert Outdoors countless times and had to the same experience everybody else has: great product at a great price and very helpful. I've also ordered some jigs from @Bluebasser86 which were also above expectations. Outside of that 90% of my bass tackle is ordered from tackle warehouse which has had its share of issues but I've experienced none up to this point. The last 10% of that business goes to random bps, cabelas, scheels or wal mart small orders.

We have a guy on my crew whose the laziest person I've ever met. Knows the job fairly well and isn't a bad guy to talk to..but man getting him to do stuff is like trying to get blood from a stone. I joked one day that if you were burning to death he wouldn't put you out because its too much work to pull the pin on the fire extinguisher.

Actually I knew that...learned it years ago when I cut meat for a living. But saying my dad didn't like any pink in his steak let alone myoglobin didn't have the same ring to it.

My dad was always that way...no pink let alone blood. One time I made a ribeye medium rare for him and he said wow this is the best steak I've ever had. I said yeah...that's because I didn't ruin it. To answer the OP question I couldn't decide yeah or nay on a 2nd date based on her food order alone...no matter how poor of a choice she made like say a well done steak. If she was fun, reasonably intelligent and attractive to me I could overlook alot.

From shore I target fishing over brush piles. I use a rocket bobber with a 1\64oz head and a tiny tube or straight tail plastic in white or a minnow color.

I had it several times as a child and once since adulthood. Its awful even when its not severe.

Ill admit that I can suck as a coworker... Can definitely be hard to get along with at times. But at least I don't need a babysitter and I don't make my work everybody else's problem. Ha...why do I need to leave early? The answer is at the intersection of nunya and damnbusiness .

Im sure we've all had them and they suck for various reasons. The latest one I'm dealing with is driving me insane. He's annoying because he takes forever to make a point when he's speaking if he even makes one. Also he's been in the Ethanol industry for 5 or 6 years but he can't do a single d**n thing on his own. On top of all of this he's super socially awkward...stands around all creepily while other people are talking and when he wants to butt in he holds his finger up as if he was raising his hand to speak in class. Dude we did that in like 4th grade, your 35 years old stop being a moron. So how many of you have had a coworker that gets under your skin?

My bass fishing has sucked since late August locally. Did stay in a cabin the week before last at a lake north of me 40ish minutes and did well there. That said I've been having good luck in the local river for walleye and Sauger so that's been awesome.
