I’m a firm believer in electronics and trolling motors don’t play well with each other. I would definitely run a second battery for your lights and FF. As for battery I always go with the largest that fits my needs and budget and space.

For me a lot depends on known or unknown water. Known water I will bounce around and see what is on the menu and the depth their hanging. Unknown water I’ll spend most of the day without wetting a line. I’ll scan and mark waypoints where I find fish or habitat I like. If there’s time after that I’ll try a few cast in the deeper areas I marked. It’s a lot harder to find them than to catch them. IMHO

With the way the market is right now I think your right in a sweet spot with $10k. Maybe $9600 sounds better but that boat looks clean and is well equipped. Good luck on a quick sale.

Been fishing Culprit June bug for longer than I care to remember and it’s still productive.

If it’s your first trip to Fork and your not getting a guide, I would purchase a boat lane SD card for your fish finder. Fork can be very dangerous if your not familiar with the submerged trees.
