How deep is the water ? Do you have spot lock or power poles ? If the water is shallow you don’t want to keep passing back and forth over it. If you are planning on fishing it use your spot lock or if shallow your PP. If you have neither drop your marker. And start fishing. If your running electronics and your going to be fishing it later mark the spot on your screen and save.

Sounds like the motor is set to low. Allows for a good hole shot bud your not getting the proper lift at higher speeds.

Livemusic if you have a trust worthy marine mechanic near you it would be worth it to have him look at it and give you a diagnosis on the issues your having. Sometimes you can throw a lot of money at a problem before you find the problem. If your set on doing it yourself then I would follow the good advice you’ve been giving. That’s a tough one. Are we talking bow or console? That’s a good question because we’re spoiled with both.

Like BigA stated. I also have a Ultrex. So far it’s been flawless. I’m not saying don’t get the force. It’s just not the one for me seeing how I’m running Humminbirds and mega 360 thru the Ultrex. Hopefully someone who owns a Force will chime in and give real advice.

Brock, I don’t think you’ll have any problem selling your boat pretty fast in this market where it seems like used boats are going fast for top $$. With that being said leave the finders on the Tracker and just ask more to help offset the cost of new ones. That way if you don’t want to install yourself, you can have the dealer you buy the new ones from do the install. Good luck and congrats on your new boat.
