  1. Takes a few years which is usually when I'm changing up the braid anyway.
  2. Electrical tape does a nice job of filling a reel and there's no chance of the braid digging into it

  5. Going cheap on a new spinning combo when you dislike spinning combos is surely going to cause you to leave it in the truck on every trip. My 2 cents.

  14. Winter fishing in shorts really proves that it's all about location. Bass will hit almost any lure that's properly presented in the right spot.

  20. My bass season is done. Time for northern pike until prespawn smallies and stocker trout.
