Takes a few years which is usually when I'm changing up the braid anyway.

Electrical tape does a nice job of filling a reel and there's no chance of the braid digging into it

Going cheap on a new spinning combo when you dislike spinning combos is surely going to cause you to leave it in the truck on every trip. My 2 cents.

My bass season is done. Time for northern pike until prespawn smallies and stocker trout.
