I have a new neighbor
We all know how fast a TW wish list adds up- have you ever tried to shop on a musky site for baits? Sheesh.

Still no bass fishing in Minnesota
Eh- I've been throwing my bass lures since early April...

Absolute best all-purpose chatterbait trailer
I like the Zako but if I have to pick one I'm going with the rage menace. I'm not falling for the vertical rigging mumbo jumbo either... rig it like you would a normal double tail.

Not getting the casting distances I hoped for out of my Daiwa reels, Tatula CT100 and CC80
Thicker braid will help reduce backlashes and digging. I was not all that enthralled with the Tatula CT reel, but it should perform substantially better than the CC80 (I did use the CR80 reel and was pretty impressed with that one for the price though). Go to the big auction site for your reels, I got a Tatula SV brand new for just a few dollars more than you paid for the CT- casting ease and distance between those two is night and day...

Just a Silly Question
So that’s your opinion but it’s definitely correct?

Just a Silly Question
Kind of like you're doing now? I know some respectable members here that subscribe to the red hook theory. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, but I don't see how this would be any different? Is @A-Jay wasting his time putting on some red hooks? Niggemeyer had an article about it in his forum too, didn't he? You're sounding a little high and mighty here imo....

Netbait Paca
That’s cool- I tend to stick mostly to SJF myself

What bait/lure or technique do you struggle with the most?
If you pair it with the right trailer, the "Alabama Shake" isn't a necessary action for successful swim jig fishing. I probably catch 75% of my fish swimming a jig and I really never do much besides cast and reel....

Netbait Paca
Been throwing a small jig on a baitcaster for years.... no need for new fancy acronyms...

Are these stocking foot waders, and do they come with the neoprene booties or do I have to buy them separately?
No bashing, just really specific questions...

Replacing rod tip- Abu Garcia Vendetta
I have a 6'9" abu garcia vendetta casting rod that I need to replace the top guide on. I found a comparable tip to order but how do i know what size eye to get or what the tube size is?

That one bait/rig that you don't use but everyone else does
A jig is a jig- you can fish them 10 different ways but it's the same lure!
-
That one bait/rig that you don't use but everyone else does
Soooo... you use a jig then?

Rigging a swimbait that already has its own head and eyes onto a swim jig head
Is that you 517!? I see pro's all the time rig swimbaits that have eyes on them to a swimbait head that also has eyes on it. I won't do it, but it must work okay..

The best fishing tackle and bait manfacturer
Daiwa Power Pro Strike King I've moved to Siebert Jigs but New-Tech makes some awesome jigs as well...

Fishing gear that has surpassed my expectations
Tatula Elite is an incredible reel..... I had my hands on the Tatula SV (Slightly less expansive) and a Chronarch MGL (slightly more expensive) over the winter, but they don't compare...

Greatest lure ever...according to Ike
Easily... fish it at any speed, anywhere in the water column, any season. You wanna cast and reel- pick up a jig. You wanna drag something slowly along the bottom- yup, Jig...

Breaking the rut of using the same few lures
Nothing wrong with the same lures, unless you prefer to mix it up a bit. I've seen people on here say, some days they just won't want a jig..... Are you sure? Every week I wait for Bassmaster to publish the article of "top baits" for the previous weeks tournament- maybe it wasn't the winning bait, but there's always someone who did pretty good on a jig- ALWAYS.

Best all around jig
Siebert Dredge Brush 1/4 oz is my do-everything jig

Bassmaster Lake Fork
Not necessarily opposed, but if they can make it work today why not every day
