  1. Dang I should cook some pulled pork one night
  2. No safe bets here. I seriously don’t care what the weather is/time of year. Just nuthin I’d rather be doing.
  3. The only thing keeping me from buying a reel like that is the fact that I have absolutely no need for it ?. I was browsing reviews last night on the zillion and was really impressed. Now I understand why @king fisher has been saying that the bait monkey has been bothering him about the zillion for a while.
  4. Sweet one! Like some others you've posted, there's a beauty to the melody. Juxtaposed with metal it's very interesting. Like yin and yang.
  5. I don't know that I've heard a song more metal than this. That was really something. Me washing dishes like ??
  6. I don’t mess around! Nah its just my favorite dish. I had to make it at one time or another. Only stuff I needed to get from an Asian market was soy bean sprouts, kimchi, and gochujang sauce. Not much, surprisingly. If I’d made it with a couple more Asian veggies it would’ve been more intense + required more preparation
  7. Bibimbap turned out just fine! I bought the stone bowl pictured to make “dolsat” Bibimbap for myself and the other two were for my roommates. Mine is shown mixed and theirs are pre-mixed. Served with kimchi and some Korean soda. This tastes like I used to buy from a delivery restaurant in NY. I used to pay good money to get it. Now I can make it myself ?
  8. I am often the same! I prefer a lot of veggies raw, but broccoli I am fine with it either way. I am looking at making the Korean dish Bibimbap tonight. My turn to cook again. It is my favorite dish of all time. Trying to sort out the logistics of how to make it and how to make the best use of what I’ve got. PS: the veggies in the Bibimbap I make will not be raw ?
  9. Real nice to see you are still finding some time to fish alongside the work balance. ?
  10. I do okay sometimes, thanks. That was pretty dang good, although I failed making some Spanish rice as a side. Few nights ago made burgers cooked Gordon Ramsey style with baked potato and that turned out fantastic. We eat good. Last night roommate made a Crunchwrap and that was pretty sweet.
  11. That surprises me. Very interesting. OP I tried typing something but think I should just sit this one out and shut up because I don’t catch much on topwater, all things considered + I am realizing people are commenting better advice than I could give.
  12. Haha. Im just impressed, is all. ? In NY I’d constantly run into this guy from Texas while fishing around at the ponds there. He loves to hunt, more than most people I’ve met. But my ponds were around hunting ground so we’d constantly be crossing paths. We’d always ask each other how things were going and no matter how big a bass I caught that day, he was polite but never impressed. He grew up fishing for bass, switched over to catfish and sometimes saltwater and hunting because “Anything under 10lbs to me is just too small and not worth the time.” I could’ve caught an 8lb bass up there and I don’t think he would’ve batted an eye ?.
  13. Sometimes I wonder if I’m in the right sport, fishing for bass. Cuz I’m having all sorts of fun and then somebody posts a photo of a 30lb flathead or blue and I think “Dang, now that’s a predator!”
  14. I think it was when I was watching Taku Ito in this year’s classic fish a spinning rig that I understood that a spinning rig has every right to stand alongside a baitcaster.
  15. That for sure it wouldn't be. ? No disrespect and I appreciate his work. I would say I am quite the weird critter myself but oftentimes I find myself thinking "huh?" after some comment he makes on bassmaster live tournaments. When I was watching more tournaments I picked up the habit for days of going "ooohhhHH" kinda like he did in a couple tournaments and my roommate at the time wondered if I was okay and asked me to stop ?
  16. Mark Zona is weird
  17. Actually, now that you mention it, you're quite right.
  18. There we go. I get to see A-Jay catch one of his nice brown bass this year on a spinnerbait. I can rest easy now @A-Jay. Thank you!
  19. Wasn't able to make it out yesterday. Went out this A.M with the intention of trying to stay out, but my back had other ideas. Just experienced some discomfort so I don't think I'll be fishing again for a while. Got a few bass in an hour though, nothing crazy. Just biding my time at this point! Was happy to make it out fishing though!
  20. You need plum, tequila sunrise, and watermelon red. Bait monkey is just trying to help you ?
  21. Congrats on the PB!!
  22. Chickie Enchiladas Black beans Serrano peppers Jalapenos peppers Onions Mexican cheese Enchilada sauce Cilantro
  23. Attention all, I am a dumbazz. Picasso does sell this skirt separately. It is Gizzard Shad Me chewin on why I dumb
  24. Thank you! But I respectfully disagree. Can’t find one in that selection that looks like a green glimmer, and think I looked there before. As an aside for purposes of updating this thread: I did some looking… the exact skirt should be Picasso grommeted “gizzard shad”. It is seemingly not available for sale separately on TW nor Picasso website. Have to get some lure that has it.
