  1. Y’all will see over next few days what bait monkey did to me and it ain’t pretty. He’s been banned from the household for months. Don’t tell the wife…. Oh wait I don’t have one ? Next up skirts from Picasso for clear water spinnerbaits. A lot of this is going to be centered around spinnerbait building supplies
  2. I like many rage tail baits Rage menace will be one of my MVP’s for this season
  3. Seems like the enemy is misinformation and marketing? So couldn’t one still be successful by simply not paying attention to anything but the fish and perhaps our lord and savior @Deleted account?
  4. For us humble delusional bass fishermen, what is your estimate on the number of syndromes we are afflicted by? Is there any hope - any reprieve from our failure?
  5. Not I but I often change them at home
  6. I have been oogling and caressing it for ten minutes straight now. It’s a beauty. Love the “Made in Japan” and the feel of it. Everything is so smooth. I think I am going to go the route of using it for light moving baits. I’ll give it a shot at displacing my REVO Winch on regular spinnerbait duty but functionally, that does not make sense to me and I love the Winch.
  7. Also, he doesn't have an account, so calling him Mr. Account seems a bit contradictory
  8. Don't worry he enjoyed giving it to you
  9. The infamous JDM Zillion This reel is much different than anything else I have. I will try hard not to make judgements until I try it with something but ridiculously light and palms pretty small. Handle is small and I might want to switch that out. It is interesting. I definitely think I would prefer this on a lighter power rod
  10. Chess.com is so judgmental. It tells me that this move is a blunder, but I won the game. So who really blundered? Me or your all-knowing analysis?
  11. 5'8", sometimes my Mom says I'm handsome
  12. Dang I wanna be called an 11/10 hot spicy meatball ?
  13. Celebrating roommate’s birthday and Labor Day so we eatin out for like the first time since we been here. Ordered this beer and it is fantastic. Called Piney River Black Walnut Wheat Beer
  14. September 15. I am not worried about being out there opening day or even week. Plus do not know how long it's gonna take me to jump through the regulation hoops and registrations. I am only worried about finding a really good area or three and then worried about hunting. It might take me several weeks to find a spot where I say... yeah... this is good. As well as have an understanding of how I want to hunt it with expectations of what paths the deer are using.
  15. Looking at all applicable regulations, safety courses, etc. If anybody hunting in MO would like to add some things I should be familiar with that are tricky and might miss, feel free. Edit: meaning tricky regulations. Because was talking with a guy here and he was talking about how the seasons are tricky here cuz it goes back and forth between what firearms you can use and stuff. I’ll look at that though
  16. I am incredibly jealous of that.
  17. Don’t worry. I’m right there with ya. Monkey had not bothered me for a couple months and then he imposed havoc on me during this Labor Day timeframe

Hey ya'll, Alright folks I've decided that because fishing has been difficult for me because of my injury... I'm hunting this season in MO for whitetails, at least for a little during this hiatus but will probably continue a little even after healing. Archery season starts the 15th and I'm looking for a crossbow, blind, and stuff. I grew up hunting and feel I know at least a little about it but have no cameras so I'll be doing some scouting lookin for dem trees, tracks, rubs, beddin areas, whatever. Let's get em
  19. This is what someone who used to fish B.A.S.S told me. He said "Nate, you have no idea how good these guys are." And I respect this man very much as a fisherman, so I took his word for it. I was blown away by some of his stories of fishing with Randy B. and Woo Daves. He was often co-angler. Whomst do you speak of? @ol'crickety? @T-Billy? Dare I say.... @TnRiver46?
  20. I've used black sharpie with some success, especially when fishin in the dark. Makes a cool black metallic finish
  21. Do you watch tournaments? If you've watched a few you'd know this is not true. IMO this is what the pros do best. They are able to find fish on a body of water they haven't seen in months or perhaps years... maybe they've never seen it before at all... and not only that... they find enough fish to make a living against a field of competitors with all the pressure of sponsors etc. Sure... maybe there's some tips they get from locals on where to go and what to use but at the end of the day their chance of success is placed entirely within their hands. There's different levels of pro fishing, sure, but watching the bassmaster elite circuit I am impressed with what the guys can do.
  22. High of 77 and overcast today here.... dunno what ya'll are complaining about ? If only I could fish ?
  23. I would throw a gray frog. Checkmate
  24. Excellent. So if the dang aluminum gears crap out on me, then I've got some nice brass gears as an option.
