While I agree that these are important for getting a spinnerbait to burn, there is much more to a spinnerbait. OP asked for a spinnerbait, not what weight and blade combinations you should use. The screaming eagle is quality.

P.S Catt why do you recommend the wedge plus and not the vibra shaft, vibra wedge one in this scenario?

I just don’t like reeling stuff fast. But for those that do, screaming Eagle is a great choice and I think probably faster than buzzbaits. For buzzbaits I’ve found a moderate speed works best. I like to work spinnerbaits really slow

I agree. I say the screaming Eagle is good for burning spinnerbaits and it is, but I do not like the technique for largemouth. Now, for smallmouth, A-Jay alone has proven that burning a spinnerbait is a killer technique

We ain't done up here in the North! Fishing hard this coming weekend, not bad conditions. Last weekend was pretty insignificant. Only one decent fish. I swear in some capacity, as long as the water aint froze over, I'll still be trying some way to fish.

I have a couple myself. They work good. I am running a single Indiana on them. As a true single Colorado drop bait or slow roller, I prefer the Nichols

Aw. I have to disagree with you on this one, despite how much I wholeheartedly agree that Trilene Big Game is the bees knees. I never tried another braid after using superslick. Extremely strong, smooth, and quiet. It is dynamite on a spinning outfit. Only posting this to give people a different perspective. I loved superslick and used it for multiple years. But I’ve effectively been converted to big game for almost everythinf

Wait for real? Huh. But he did figure it out! He figured out a way to catch them, you have to start fishing for bluegill! They will take the hint that you are no longer fishing for them and will bite your bait just to confuse you all over again. This is wild though. Hope someone has worked through this apparently tough time to catch them and shares.

There would be some blade changing going on but a couple of these have interesting mechanisms allowing you to make blade changes easier. The Omega Genesis Ti is especially very interesting but I'm concerned that this lure might be an attempt to catch fisherman. The quick changing clevis is an innovative idea seemingly..... but how does it affect the lure?? Hmmmm

What about spinnerbait hooks? As careful as I have been with storing my spinnerbaits, some of my older ones have a little rust on the hook. Thoughts?

Funny you mentioned that, because I had a strange amount of bites while my spinnerbait was falling on Sunday. I should have capitalized on that. Btw, the single willow blade can be great, but I am quite attracted to the way a short arm single colorado falls. Very controlled flutter. You can create one on Nichols' website but just selecting the single willow configuration on their metal flake spinnerbaits. The arm is short.

I wouldn’t be able to catch a fish with either so I am happy to report confidently that the KVD works just as good as the 110 ????

Okay gotcha. Interesting. I never liked that flatter arrow head but others know more than I do, especially the locals. Best of luck when you head back there, Shearon Harris is a very sporty lake. Not the prettiest I've fished, but it's a lake for sportsman.

I am guessing on the rightmost circle? Let me just say that I know that some giants have been caught in that vicinity. Are those buoys still out there? Right in that area. also my biggest bite on Shearon Harris was in those arms that you mentioned in the upper right. One of the smaller ones. Lost that one ?. Bent the hooks on my jerk bait. I was inexperienced
