  2. miller lite miller chill blue moon sierra nevada pale ale tucher (sp)
  3. get a good size cooler and drill two seperate holes in the top. go buy to battery powered aerators and stick them through the holes. there you go instant aerator. I fish a tournament and my boat doesn't have a live well so this is what I do. I have a kept a limit alive doing this mulitiple times. it will work.
  4. 4.74 lbs. LMB Caught it on a Red Eye Shad FL state record is 17.27 lbs. My score My Fish 4.74 CT record 17.27 4.74/17.27 x 100 = 27.446 I took a picture but didn't have the digital camera. Hopefully we can get it developed soon.
  5. I have the hummingbird 535 portable. This unit is identicle to the regular 535 but comes in a hard plastic carrying case and the transducer has a suction cup. This thing is awesome and works great.
  6. Sanford, Lake Monroe Saturday Tourney Winning weight 20lbs Weather PC Wind WSW 15 - 20 Water Upper 70's Air 75 - 90 Deltona Small Boat Club Classic. Winning weight 20lbs all caught in Lake Mornoe. (not me unfortunately) 2nd place - 8lbs 3rd place - 6lbs (me) 4th place - 5.75lbs Big Fish 6.08lbs Lake was nice until about 7:00am and then got really windy. Chocolate colored water started moving in from the river and really dirtied everything up. Bass were in the grass and were on in the early morning. The lake is pretty low but fishable. Rattletraps seemed to be the go to bait.
  7. I thought there would be more love for the Devil's Horse. Amazing topwater. This bait caught me a $200 fish today. Bass can't stand this lure and hit it because it is annoying.
  8. The stick marsh is only dangerous if you want to get up on a plane and run. Just take it easy and have fun. there is no need to run anywhere. You are not in a tournament just take it slow and you will be fine. Go to stick marsh and get some shiners.
  9. Seems like a lot of effort for a hook, some weights and a worm, unless they were tungsten weights, those things are expensive.
  10. Don't waste money anywhere else and go to the Stick Marsh. You are guaranteed to have a great time catching some hogs.
  11. I used to be into car audio, but have not had any subs in my truck for the past 2.5 years. I do have a couple words of advice. Don't go out and buy a cheap amp that states it has an enormous amount of power. Buy a quality brand and you will be much happier. If you aren't looking to spend too much I highly recommend getting kicker competition subs 10" or 12" and a kicker amp to go with it. You won't be disappionted unless you want to win some sound competitions. LBH have you ever used kicker? Do you like their products?
  12. This is the same method I use. Works perfectly.
  13. I have two in the same fish tank and both have completely different colors. One is dark with defined markings and one has almost no markings at all. But the one with no marking sometimes gets a little more defined but the darker one always has pretty defined markings.
  14. You defenitely have to pick up a Devil's Horse especially living in florida. You can pick some up at any Wal-Mart. Get the Silver and Orange one.
  15. another site you can use to create ringtone from any song on your computer is www.mobile17.com. You can even cut the beginning and end of the song to fit your phone. Try it out. There is a pay option but you can do it for free it just takes longer to get the text message for the d/l url.
  16. Here is a question for you guys. Is it considered trolling if I am reeling continously but as slowly as humanly possible while the trolling motor is moving the boat forward and my lure is behind the boat?
  17. Deltona Small Boat Club. It is for boats 17' or less and Motors with 40hp or less. We usually have about 15 baots participating. 30$ entry fee and 15 or 20$ dues. It is a nice club to fish if you have a small boat and can't run at 60mph.
  18. In the tacklemaking forum is says ReelMech (Ex Member) maybe it was a different reel mech.
  19. anybody know why?
  20. I plan on doing the same thing when I get my new Lowe 1652 jon boat. I'm not sure what i'll make it out of yet, but I am going to take the controls off my old boat .
  21. careerbuilder.com really sucks, if you want to find a better job you have to look in the local newspapers and other local media. I looked on careerbuilder.com for a job for 5 months and never got a call back. I have a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems and never got a call back. Look locally you will have much better luck.
  22. Big Game is the line to go with if you are using mono, and you can pick up a 1/4# spool almost anywhere fishing equipment is sold, and it is tough as nails.
  23. hed pe, nonpoint, taproot, bush, nirvana, rage against the machine, project 86, pantera, A7X, Atreyu, Poison the Well, Deftones, Alice in Chains, Sevendust, Blood for Blood, Zao, As I Lay Dying, Machinehead, and tons more that I can't really think of right now.
  24. I was catching some minnows in my net on sunday and got some minnows and a fish that looks just like a bass fry. I have a couple of questions. 1. How big are bass fry? The one I caught in my minnow net is only about 1/2" long. 2. What do bass fry eat? I'm keeping him in a cooler with a aerator. 3. How fast will this fish grow?
  25. Not sure if this applies to this thread but it is in Central Florida. Had a tournament on saturday out of the S.R. 46 Ramp. Me and my partner rode to Lake Monroe in the morning and struck out. The water was about 1.5 ft low and there was only about 2 foot of water around bethel creek cove, where we were planning on fisihng. We fished the opening to the river and the lake and the didn't catch anything. We headed back up the river to Indian Slough and the water was so dirty it looked like chocolate milk. The visibility was about 8". We went back up the river towards Lake Harney to try and find some schooling bass but none was to be found. All in all it was a really crappy day with winds around 20 mph and constant. We had about 15 boats participating and only 5 or 6 weighed in fish. The winning weight was 14.10 and second was somewhere around the 8+ mark.
