  1. Clever. I like it.
  2. Just take some of your tasty looking fried fish in and they'll let you have it.
  3. Looks like an interesting offseason hobby. I think your drawing style is interesting, and better than you give yourself credit for.
  4. ? Kind of funny, but definitely weird.
  5. I love the H2O Xpress stuff. I have several of their lures, and a couple rods, but I do not one of those jerkbaits...yet. Is there's a good chance I will have one in that color by Friday?
  6. Wow! Nice fish! I know one thing I'll be looking for the next time I go to Academy. ?
  7. I got a pack of smokey shad menaces just the other day. Can't wait to try them. KVD magic can be pretty good on sunny days too @Blue Raider Bob.
  8. or it could be "over in yonder holler"...depending on where you are.
  9. Nice! Hard to argue with those results. My favorite senko color is probably watermelon, but there are a lot of great colors.
  10. Thanks for sharing your experience. He may find his way here, but you tagged the wrong @roadwarrior. Bigger bass bite senkos too. Once I read RW's excellent post I had to try it for myself. I caught the fish below with the very first senko I ever put in the water. I always have some with me now.
  11. A PB smallie, and witnessing a spinnerbait fish in the same day? Good day, and congrats on the nice fish!
  12. Out of the park, man! Congrats! I appreciate the mention of fish legs in your description too. ? ?
  13. Thank you for your service, and the interesting story.
  14. Wow! Very nice!
  15. Thank you for sharing your experiences @WRB. Any one of those fish is a catch of a lifetime and you got to experience it several times. The fact that you have such experience, and you are willing to share it in a humble way is one of the reasons your input is respected on this forum. Kudos to you.
  16. Don’t do it! That stuff makes me think of the Oregon Trail.
  17. Never fails. Even if I have a tray on my workspace. I feel like you're in good company on this one.
  18. I’m pretty new to baitcasters too. My first one was a Daiwa. It was very easy to learn so I’ll vote Daiwa too. I’ve never had a Shimano, but there are a lot of good fishermen that love them. The best suggestion I got when I started learning was to get some cheap line and practice a lot before you get out on the water to fish. That saved me a good bit of money on line, and frustration. Good luck! I bet you’ll be an expert before long. Another suggestion would be to check out the BassResourse video on How to cast a baitcaster.
  19. To mimic a fish I like a Rage Swimmer or Blade Minnow. For a craw I like a Rage Menace/Bug.
  20. I've caught some from the bank with a jerkbait. I have also donated some to the rocks too.
  21. Nice! Looks cold, but looks like a good day.
  22. That is an excellent question, my friend!
  23. I have a 7'5" MH Psycho Stick that I got from a friend. I've only had it on the water a couple of times, but it's easily the nicest rod I have. I've noticed feeling things I don't feel with my other rods. It's light, sensitive, casts well, and it looks impressive. The handle has a bit of a narrow feel, but it hasn't been a problem for me. I haven't had a lot of experience with it yet, but I really like it so far. I think @roadwarrior was planning to do a writeup on it, but I don't know if he's finished it yet.
  24. Welcome!
