  1. *cries in Great Lakes*
  2. I sling 1/8 oz to 1 oz on my XTs, no problem.
  3. Facts. I could never comprehend nor imagine intentionally paying more so another guy can buy a Corvette or something. I have a life to live, and life isn't cheap.
  4. Very few new topics would ever get created if everyone just did that. Forum killing suggestion.
  5. I like 6 lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid as an all around spinning line.
  6. If the plastics aren't interacting to cause burns or melting, I find the unique color changes to be really good sometimes.
  7. Very slow on Android too. It's not an iOS issue. It's faster if you open what you want to see in a new tab rather than clicking and waiting.
  8. Once you more or less know what you like, brick and mortar is obsolete in today's world. And I HATE that, but it's the truth. Online shopping is the future, and the future is here. I'm consistently disappointed in the selection or lack thereof of almost all physical stores these days, if the store even exists at all.
  9. I haven't been on the website in probably 2 weeks. Just looked. Yep, now it's as bad as most other fishing store websites. Changing just to change. Zero reason or benefit. Like a highschool girl who has to have the same top as the other highschool girls.
  10. Ned Rig on a swim hop retrieve. 1/15 or 1/16 oz at the heaviest with a true ZMan TRD. Pitching Senkos, wacky or weightless weedless (no weight ever), with precision and absolute silence against any cover you can find, in any shade pockets, under any overhangs. BURNING 1/4 oz lipless crankbaits. Those are consistently my best options.
  11. Why is YZH always pink now when I type and post it by its whole name? Yo-Zuri Hybrid Well now it's not. What the heck.
  12. Holy crap I took my own advice out of curiosity and it actually worked hahahahahahaha
  13. Just look up "idiots who fish" on YouTube. Should direct you straight there.
  14. Historically my posts have only turned pink when mentioning the company that rhymes with Poopin God. Recently my posts go pink when mentioning YZH by its full name. Idk why.
  15. I only ever want a true Texas rig in rock/gravel or sand (unless pitching cover down banks in shallow water). Any other Texas rig dragging or hopping just irritates the crap out of me with the mud, gunk, weeds, and debris fouling everything up. Works well for me.
  16. People, music...and...a cast followed by a crunch sound...get to picking
  17. Spinning reel drag. I don't like hearing bass slosh around. That's always stressful. The better sound is the clicking, rattling, or jingling of them shaking while you have them out of the water and lipped before you take the hook or lure out.
  18. I cannot handle seeing children or animals in pain. It's humbling to learn how soft you are in intense moments. 8 years ago my 9 year old daughter was crawling around in the kitchen. My ex wife didn't notice her by the oven and opened the oven door to check on the food. I was coming out of the bathroom at the exact moment my daughter pressed her arm against the hot inside part of the oven door to try to stand up. The horror was too much to handle. I think I almost went into shock. Her entire forearm was melted. Luckily she has no scar all these years later and healed perfectly. July 2022 we got our rabbit spayed at the exotic animals clinic in our city. It's the very best clinic in the state for pets that don't fall under the realm of cats and dogs. This was supposed to be a routine surgery, but our little Freya didn't take the surgery well. She was refusing to eat or drink. If a rabbit goes 24 hours without eating, they go into GI Stasis and die. Their digestive system has to constantly be moving, hence why you always see them chewing and why they're known as poop machines. We took her to the clinic where she would stay for a few days being force fed by hand by experts with a product called Critical Care. She ended up recovering well from that. However, upon going to pick her up we were horrified by her condition. Her eye was swollen, inflamed, and stuck mostly shut with gunk. They claimed to not know what happened. It took 2 months, many vet visits, way more money than my fiance and I have, and a lot of stress to heal her eye. She has been back to normal for a year, but that damaged eye has a slight cloudiness and blue color to it that it didn't have before. She can see out of it, but to what degree we have no idea. She obviously has some permanent damage and some level of blindness in it, but she does very well. Below is a picture taken at some point during her time with the injury. We didn't have a choice but to get her spayed because the majority of unspayed female rabbits die of female reproductive cancer between the ages of 3-5. Now we can expect 8-10 years of life, of course assuming that she maintains her health. I'm glad your dog is on the mend. Sorry for the selfish long winded post. I was just letting you know, I GET IT. It hurts when our babies, human or fur, are suffering.
  19. Gamakatsu EWG and Gamakatsu SuperLine EWG are what I use for most things. I've never had a problem with hooking up or staying hooked up.
  20. I'd get a Tatula. All in all you're going to spend a little more than $150, but it's worth it. To stay completely under $150, I love Dobyns, and I like Furys. People will say the Fury isn't sensitive enough, but I disagree. How, oh how, did anyone catch fish in the past if a Dobyns Fury doesn't get it done...
  21. Great article, crickety. My kind of fishing. ? you are blessed
  22. I see the point. In my case it was genuine curiosity. I live nowhere near there, will likely never be up that way, and I don't even drive. I look up a lot of lakes the members talk about. BUT, others definitely look them up to actually fish them. I don't like to share either. Humans consistently ruin everything.
  23. I'm not trying to be nosey or annoying so tell me if I am and I'll stop pestering you, and sorry if you already posted this elsewhere, but what made you decide to do that? If it's personal sorry.
  24. Upgrading or going back to the canoe?
  25. By the way I meant to ask, what made you decide to do videos again? I remember you posted one like a month ago.
