  1. You’ll be happy with the Stradic FL. They’re very well made reels and I believe the best bang for the buck. I sold all my spinning reels and all I have are Stradic FLs. I even use a Stradic FL 1000 for my Ultralight fishing. Just perfect. Have 2 2500s and 2 3000s as well.
  2. You have stock on the Curado MGL 150? LoL
  3. I bank fish and I’m extremely happy with the distance I get. It’s pretty much the 2017 Stella.
  4. I have the same rod in mojo bass and I love it with the Stradic FL 2500. Feels great in hand and to fish all day.
  5. Easy to beat that for a cheaper cost. JDM SLX DC XT is far superior. Curado 70 is a let down actually. Much preferred the slx mgl 70 over that reel. But hey that’s just my opinion so don’t shoot me over that. hey.. you forgot the XT… slx dc xt. The regular slx dc I dont care for . All good though brother. but yeah JLS is the way to go for sure. Excellent prices and customer service is top notch.
  6. Old thread…. I know…. LoL Do you know the size of o-ring needed in case it needs to be replaced??
  7. I really really enjoy using the slx dc xt… it’s jdm only. 70 size spool. Mgl III spool. It DOES NOT feel like an slx at all. It punches way above its price range and shouldn’t be considered in the slx line up to be honest. I got one when they came out just to get one and I was blown away. I don’t care for the dc part but the reel itself is awesome. I enjoy it as much as my Zillion SV, HD and Steez reels. Used the reel the other day as well for jerkbaits and it was awesome.
  8. Ha! Yeah I’m sure it would blind me if I forgot my shades. LoL
  9. Probably my alter ego. He’s a jerk on there lol But yeah JLS is the way to go and glad your orders have gone well.
  10. That’s what I use or a ‘22 zillion hd. I’d also suggest a jdm bantam
  11. Too add to this. I always buy from JLS and have always had a great experience. When paying through PayPal express I always select to pay in YEN instead of PayPal doing the conversion for Me. Whatever the conversion from xe.com says is what I’ve always paid to the penny. Maybe my bank doesn’t charge a conversion fee. Once I selected for PayPal to do the conversion for me and it cost me an additional $20, won’t make that mistake again
  12. I always order from Japan Lure Shop
  13. Ahh they said everything is fine. 🤷🏻‍♂️ im going to check out a local store that has one in stock to compare. Either way I’m really impressed with this rod. Got too good of a deal I couldn’t pass up.
  14. if You had the chance to get a Steez A2 or Antares 70a… what would you pick and why? Anyone have experience with both? What are the pros and cons? Thinking of it as an all around reel with braid.
  15. Might I suggest to you Berkley x9 to throw in the mix? 🥸
  16. Oh excellent. Thanks for the reply. Not bad shipping prices at all.
  17. Have you ordered from them before?? How much is shipping roughly if you have?
  18. No way man… hands down the best braid going for the past few years has been Berkley X5 or X9. That Suffix 832 is old news now. 😝
  19. Nice. I was thinking of getting it for a shorter frog rod fishing from shore. Plus buzzbaits and toads. Wonder if it would make a good 6” magdradt rod.
  20. Just pick a braid… let’s not let this debate happen again. There is a topic about this already from 3 days ago. Pick what braid you feel comfortable with instead of getting 30 suggestions.
  21. Anyone familiar with this rod and what are you using it for mainly? Also what other techniques does it excel at aside from skipping docks?
