  1. Just call St Croix and get the facts on the spot so you know. They’re fast to answer and probably faster than getting a reply here.
  2. Bass pro gift cards aren’t accepted in Japan I guess you can go curado 150 mgl…
  3. Went from 832 50# to Berkley x5 50# and now I use Sunline FX2 50# for the last 2 years and haven’t looked back.
  4. Didn’t they just redo the LTB last year?
  5. I’d go with the tatula 100. Really enjoyable to fish with and it is zillion smooth!
  6. Mind are really tough to move and they’re both brand new. I don’t even use the dials
  7. St Croix Legend Tournament - 6’8mxf St Croix Victory 7’1mhf Okuma TCS Scott Martin Frog/Swimbait 7’3 H
  8. I think you’d have a different experience with the 12# Yozuri hybrid. Went out a few days ago and stuck every bass on the lipless crank with 12 YZH. Last night I felt my spool was a little low so I changed out to 12# sunline machine gun cast and went out today. Same reel and same rod and same bait just mono on this time as line and I stuck 50% of the hits. I feel like the mono had a little too much give to get those hooks in. I know you were using single hook and I’m using trebles but I feel the line made all the differences in my hook up ratio.
  9. Thanks for the reply. Greatly appreciate it. I have the rip n chatter rod currently in the victory line. Also I have the p5 blade and someone wants to trade me their Xtreme for my blade. I was thinking it’s a win for me due to the higher price tag on the Xtreme and warranty knowing SC will take care of me as for MB won’t.
  10. Was offered a trade for my destroyer P5 Blade. I just meant any destroyer p5 though. No specific model. My fav rod is the Victory “the grunt” 7’1 MH/F and was wondering if this legend xtreme will be the same but obviously higher end with blank and components. Is it worth the step up?
  11. Anyone use or familiar with the St Croix Legend Xtreme 7’1 MHF casting rod? If so, what are your thoughts? how does it compare to a Megabass Destroyer P5?
  12. Used it all last year and it’s great!
  13. LoL. Spinning I just use them as they are. Right or left it don’t matter. Baitcasting I can’t use a lefty to save my life. LoL
  14. Stradic 1000 all day long. I love my Stradic FL 1000s on my st croix panfish UL and panfish Light rods!
  15. Oh that Okuma TCS sure can. The Levante perfect pitch can too. Nice soft tip. I haven’t used the Orochi xx one yet
  16. I’d also like to suggest the Okuma TCS 7’3 Heavy frog/swimbait rod. It’s an incredibly versatile rod and I give it the edge over the perfect pitch. Just slightly.
  17. I feel the same. I have 4 FL’s that are bullet proof and don’t feel the need to try the new one. The Vanquish does peak my interest though. Bait monkey ain’t getting me today
  18. I don’t know if aluminum or graphite makes a difference. I used to believe it until my Revo x (I know not high quality) aluminum frame snapped on me years ago. Never happened with graphite frame reels I used to use before I cared enough about what reels I had. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  19. Makes you feel taller. LoL i got it for bank fishing so it’s easier to maneuver around the bank but also it’s more accurate than a longer rod. I haven’t kayak fished so I’m not sure if a shorter rod is beneficial or not? I do float tube and I’ve enjoyed the shorter rods on that over the years with my shortest being a 5’10 MH Megabass destroyer Go-Ten. Oh and the blade is also good for topwater walking baits too
  20. I found the Blade to be good for spinnerbaits, blades jigs, squarebills, swim jigs and will do t-rigs as well. It’s shorter rod, 6’8 which might be good for kayak? I like it for the few times I’ve used it from Shore so far.
