Megabass Destroyer “Go-Ten”. 5’10 medium heavy. Tatula 80. 12lbs yozuri hybrid. Just gonna use for tight areas, shore fishing etc…. Should be a fun little rod. Most of my fishing this year has been on 6’6 rods so I took it a notch down. LoL.

Oh yeah man. I order from JLS and the speed a reel arrives to Canada is mind blowing. 72hrs from ordering online to my door. For the heck of it I ordered a reel from cabelas the same time and it took 10 days from 3 provinces over.

that slx dc xt is a gem. It really closed the gap between the slx and curado. After using the slx mgl and now the slx dc xt. I don’t even see a need to even glance at the curado/scorpion anymore.

Not worth it. What do you use the slx xt for and what do you plan to use the 200 for? others have already gave their suggestion and you’re asking again. Seems like you’re fishing for someone to say do it to justify the trade. In that case go ahead and trade. The other guy will be happier and you’ll wonder why you traded. if the curado 200 is so much better than the slx xt. Would it make sense for someone to do a straight up trade for a lesser reel? Only you can decide that. edit: Sorry I hope this didn’t come out as rude or argumentative or anything. Not my intention at all.

I just called them last week to get a replacement for a rod that broke. Was my fault. No issues at all with reaching st croix. They answered right away and I got my issue sorted out and rod shipped out right away. Last year I had no issues either when I needed to replace a rod that broke. Again my fault. Very smooth transaction. They actually went above and beyond with that instance. I snapped the tip of my panfish rod which was the 1st Gen so it was well over the warranty limit. They had the panfish rods on back order so they suggested a premier as the replacement. I went with the premier and was told it’s due in the warehouse the following week and will ship asap. In the meantime I checked out one in the store and felt it wasn’t what I wanted in comparison to my panfish rod. Called them up and got ahold of someone right away. Asked to change my premier to a panfish Rod and that I’ll wait the 3 months for a new one. Guy apologized that I settled for something I wasn’t content with and unfortunately they can’t update my order and I’ll get the premier. He then asked me to hold on a second and put me on hold. Came back 2 mins later and said they just got some panfish rods in stock and they’re sending me one free of charge to make up for the hassle. Offered to pay for it because it’s not their fault and they just sent it it free. Top notch service and they’ve won my business for sure. I have confidence in the future should I need to contact them again that my issues will be dealt with fast and professionally. I’m surprised to hear that so many are having any issues with their customer service or their rods. I have a few 2nd Gen Bass X and Victory rods and not a single issue with the reel seats and I beat on those rods when I take them out. Don’t baby them like my Megabass rods. LoL. But that’s also because Megabass has a terrible warranty. I don’t even know why I buy them. ??‍♂️

Don’t do it. Stick with the slx xt.

Been using my steez a2 every chance I can. It’s starting to grow on me and feel better which each has. It’s definitely a nice reel but for the money I think the zillion sv is the best bang for your buck. I don’t feel a huge difference over the 2. Or even go with the zillion hd for a few bucks more to step it up a notch from the zillion sv. Time will tell. I haven’t found the perfect rod for it yet. Ha. End of the day, I wouldn’t of been disappointed if I had saved $75 and bought another zillion HD.

naw…. The slx mgl is a need …..and a want. Great reel. I enjoy it more than the curado 70 mgls I had and sold off both of those. Didn’t see the value of the curado 70 mgls over the slx mgl.

It was my buddy’s rod. It was the expensive one. $400 here in Canada on sale for $200. First hook set and that broke. Right back to the store for his money back. I’m sure 13 fishing would of replaced it though. I’ve had a few 13 fishing rods and I’ve really enjoyed them. Great customer service from what I hear. But my buddy’s rod breaking. That hurt for sure.

oh I agree. I have a brand new tatula sv still in the box. Can’t bring myself to take it out since getting my first zillion sv. Now I got the zillion hd as well. What a reel! I went up to steez level but more content with the zillions. I can’t bother to go back to my scorpion mgls, tatula svs and tatula elites. LoL. lucky the wife hasn’t googled up a zillion or steez yet. ?

As the title says… for those of you that have a steez a2. What applications are you using it for? What line? What rod? currently got one. I feel like it’s ok. Maybe I’m not using it right. It’s nice but I feel like the zillion sv and zillion hd that I have are up there as well. Was kinda hoping for a little more out of it given the bit higher price tag. Using it on an Orochi XX Tour Versatile with 16lbs Seaguar R18 LTD….
