nice. 8/12 isn’t too far away and you know you’ll be getting a freshly made rod. Last time they gave me a back order date the rod ended up shipping out 2 weeks early and arrived fast. Was worth the wait.

Have the Okuma Helios, Komodo 273 and 364, Helios SX and hakai. All great reels. Those hakai reels are fantastic and a lot of reel for the money. the Okuma Helios/Helios TCS are really solid and well built. Mine has been taking abuse for 9-10yrs frog fishing and still going strong like day one.

Currently have a ‘16 Zillion Sv 5.5. No longer need the 5.5 gears (but I’d still hold onto them). Want to change the gears to a 7 speed. Do I just change the gear or will I need to change the pinion gear as well? thanks

give st croix a call in regards to the broken victory rod. They’re quick to answer. I’ve had to use the warranty claim online and some reason it’s not as quick. Called them up and it was taken care of within minutes. And the broken rod was my fault for the claim. Not the rods. Still they had outstanding customer service for my rod that was out of warranty by 4 years.

none. Use a tatula elite with it and spooled up with 50lbs berkley x5. I’d imagine the line rating is for mono.

I have a 1000 size nasci and it’s a fantastic reel. Nothing like my Stradic fl 1000 but still fantastic I enjoy using it alot

I’d go evergreen combat stick. I have 7 of them. They’re great for the price.

I have that rod. It’s fantastic. It does a lot of stuff well. The 7’1 MH victory rod that is.

22 Zillion HD with 50lbs FX2

I have that evergreen combat stick. I enjoy that rod a lot for everything you’ve mentioned. I have 6 evergreen combat sticks and they’re all quite enjoyable.
