My goofy butt got caught on the lake when a tornado came through. The scariest part was getting swamped, the most painful part was getting the crap beaten out of me by hail. I couldn’t see five feet in front of the boat. There was nowhere to escape. I was just praying my motor didn’t die. After it passed I caught some nice walleye though.

I love watching monster hook sets. Reel down while taking a step back and then swing from the hip. Oh yeah.

I’ve had way better success fishing slowly and methodically.

I like mono perty good. Sometimes I go off the reservation and try something new but always seem to come back to mono for one reason or the other.

I used to have a gun rack on the back window of my pickup truck. It’s a different world nowadays. As for leaving a loaded gun in a public bathroom , I mean come on.

Been using Suffix here lately, cause I found it on sale for 8$ / 1000 yards. It’s awesome.

I don’t do it in town anymore. I accidentally honked at a Fed Ex driver delivering a package and he dropped it and gave me the stink eye while I waved at him.

Sometimes when I’m happy and I know it I honk my horn.

I’m that way too. I usually don’t know I’m going fishing until five minutes beforehand. I try to keep my gear organized and ready to go all the time .

I fish with some good fisherwomen, they’re out there.

I have to work on the plumbing side every once in a while. I hate it. Wallowing around in excrement under a trailer house will make a person wish they went to college.

I’d just go with it. If you’re catching fish and having fun , you’re winning.
