we have the same taste in fishing rods. I use Exprides manly, but love some of the offerings from other brands as well.

Dobyns frog rods.
Hello everyone, thanks for checking my post! To complete my 2022 lineup, I'm looking at a heavy stick for frogging, after tons of reading I think I will be going for a Dobyns 735C (unless you convince me otherwise) I been thinking that the Sierra rod may be a good option. but then if its for frogs why wouldn't I just go for a Fury instead and save (not really save but repurpose in fishing gear) $60. What are the advantages from the Sierra that will make me pay $60 more or even worst getting another TW tube on the front door that the wife will see (cant find those locally, only the Furys) Thanks for your comments!

That's Women's Work!
My parents taught me everything I needed to run a house by myself at a very early age, they taught me how to clean, cook, wash my clothes, iron (this I still have trouble with) and every other household activity imaginable that was traditionally assigned to a woman so I would not be dependent on one to have a decent life after I left home. Now that I'm married I still enjoy doing most of those activities as I have been doing them my entire life, I'm self sufficient to get my life running without bothering anyone. I plan to teach the same to my kid as soon as he is old enough. The only thing my parents didn't think of was that this delay them from getting grandkids.

White Spinnerbaits
Hello everyone, I moved a few years ago up north where lakes don't have shad (blue gill and perch are the main forage) Where I come from white spinnerbaits kill it. I'm so used to fish them that I use them here regularly and never thought about switch to the colors of the hatch .. I don't have any fishing friends in the area so I don't have any direct source of information. What you guys think makes the white spinnerbait so successful?? should I be looking at other colors?? I bought a few Picasso spinners and all in white variations when I thought about it for the first time. thanks for your comments!

Stradic FL, Vanford or Tatula LT. Talk me into it.
Did you come up with a decision?? I'm on the same train.. I love Stradics but the Vanford's lighter weight is always a plus. and given that the price does not play at all its a tough choice.

Calm Weather fishing.
I used to feel the same, but as I'm getting into kayak fishing more every season, I appreciate calm weather more every time I'm in it. I just wish fish would cooperate with me a little more. Sorry I guess I didn't express myself correctly, I do not think they will eat just anything, I just really wanted to point out how diverse the opinions are. I'm sure people are reading other guys recommendations and think "that will never work!" because everyone has very different opinions.

Calm Weather fishing.
I don't think I have ever used a wake bait, this may be a good time to try it, tks! Ned Rig is always a decent option ?, that's my last resort bait as I have terrible luck on such days (and most days) It is always cool to have multiple completely different answers to topics like this. Sometimes I wonder if all we think works on any given conditions is just that and fish eat whatever happens to show up in front of them and find appetizing.

Calm Weather fishing.
Small lake, lots of weeds, most of it on the 15ft but has a 30ft deep area, clear lake most of the time. As for temperature lets talk about may-june warm days (80 to 90 degrees) that is a good point keep quiet presentations should help

Calm Weather fishing.
Hello everyone, quick question, what technics are recommended no wind, warm days, I'm really interested to know what areas do you look for and what lures work for you the best. I really don't know what to use as I try to keep working cover or follow grass lines with worms without much results.. all tips and suggestions are welcome. thanks!!!

Googan Dart soft plastics?
I had one of their jerkbaits, I actually have to say it was not bad. I cached a few fish with it before a pike decided to keep it. it had nice flash, suspended as it should, interesting color and casted ok. Its not the next Vision 110 but for the price I would say it was good. If megabass jerkbaits were not $25 or waters pike infested there would be no reason to purchase anything else, but since that is the case.. its not a bad option.
