Exactly, the other day I was looking at a youtube video (from a Pro) on tips for SI. The guy had to move forward and raise his head to look over his units.

The camera angle is perfect for that shot, its a great picture ? that's a very reasonable height, flush mounting should be a standard. but the fact that you will see some boats with the screens right on the eye level height its scary..

While I'm also guilty of it, I really don't understand why we have those screens in boat consoles blocking our view, it is great to be able to see your screens while at the wheel, but they definitely obstruct your view and it very distracting. I understand that this comes from a time were we had a 6" screen. but today's are huge and of course.. why only one when you can have two..

Hi!! Which rod did yo punchase?? did you get the Celilo?? I'm also looking at it as I would like to take my daughter fishing and that seems like a good starter pan fish rod. I have no idea about this kind of fishing but it may be fun for her. I guess she is kind of curios why her dad spends so much time doing it. I'm thinking an Okuma Ceymar reel may be a good pair, I'm not sure if a 500 or 1000 model.

I grew up with baitcasters and never bother with anything else, but moving up north taught me to love the spinning reel and the techniques that definitely work better on it. Also, now I enjoy working a reel and a rood on different hands depending the gear I'm holding and just the idea of that light line snapping because I didn't do my part correctly is very exciting.

hopefully you're right and they just make cut savings on reducing the SKU numbers. as stated there are just to many colors, I'm sure that someone uses those colors but I don't think that there is too many people. I'm most concern about the manufacturing process and the sourcing of components, Senkos are the most simple bait design there is and other companies have not been able to replicate them.

I'm stoking up anyway, they will start their cost reduction projects really quick to recover their investment.

While is great to see organized data on this site, I don't think is statically posible to have a chart that will give you the odds of caching a fish of a given size considering that population of those large fish is different from state to state.. the possibilities to get over 12lbs here in MI are way, way lower than they are in FL or TX.

At 22 you should be doing the responsable thing and spend your hard earn money in beer, girls and trips not on monthly payments, repairs, interest and insurance for a bass boat, you will have time for that later. Everyone here has given you great advice, kayaks and being a co-angler are actually fantastic options that will get you in the water, teach you a lot a bout the sport and leave your money for what should really matter at your age. Its a trap!!!!

Its a shame that the site is most likely a scam, at those prices I would have bought quite a few of them. Are the ones on Amazon legit?? I been having second toughs on getting them since the prices are so low compared to everywhere else

(cigarrete butts on the water get me really fired and I'm a smoker!) About the youtube googan vids, I think of them as comedy shows for kids and teenagers featuring some bass fishing, after all there are a lot worst things for them to watch in there than that.
