  1. Jeez... I woulda thought driving a big gas guzzler like that would get you crucified out there in California. HAHA. Nice ride for sure though.
  2. It's $2.09 here in Franklin TN, but it can be had for less than $2 south and east of here.

My best friend has a glock 27 .40 caliber compact handgun. It is an awesome handgun. It is small enough to fit in your pants pocket, but I wouldn't recommend it because it doesn't have a safety. I have shot it many times, it is accurate enough and would definately scare someone off. My only complaint is the grip is short and my pinky finger hangs off. They do however offer an extended clip to take care of that problem. At around $500 I think they are hard to beat, I think I am getting one for christmas. Another one of my friends has a Kimber 1911 .45, that is a nice gun with a ton of knock down power. I have never shot it but I know its a beast. It is however about twice the size of the glock, and so is the price tag. I think he paid $800 for a used gun. Hope this helps a little...
  4. run it through the paper shredder
  5. I was at my secret place this spring fishing from my buddies jon boat. I was working the overhanging trees on the shore and got snagged. So I trolled over to free myself and hear this loud hiss. There was a goose on his nest under the tree I snagged. I didn't even notice him, then he flew straight at me. I whacked him with a paddle, got my lure, and got the heck out of there. Next spring I will look a little more carefully when fishing that side of the lake.
  6. I've bought a Loomis IMX rod on craigslist for $100. Yesterday someone posted a curado 100D for $100, and a loomis IMX 7' H rod for $200. I've also seen curado B's for $50 a few times. Other than those its just junk people don't want any more.
  7. Big fish trumps getting wet in my book. I got caught in a rain storm last month and got soaked. I also caught my PB 8# lmb, so it was all good in my book.
  8. Yup saw that too... Only a couple more hrs until history is made. It always amazes me the people they put on T.V. Especially here in TN, any time there is a major news story the reporters find the most redneck backwood S.O.B. with no teeth. All they say is umm and uh. It just makes me mad, but it also makes me laugh.
  9. Dang. too bad I'm broke at the moment.

I wish they had deals like that in TN, if you spend $100 @ Kroger (grocery store) they give you .10 off a gallon. Thats it though, you can't save up points to save more.

Daily special @ ***.com today for $5.49.... just letting you know.
  12. I bought a pack of each a couple weeks ago for fishing cranks this winter. So I can crank em down and stop them. Does anyone else use these? What other applications do you use them for. I remember reading in Bassin' that KVD raps them around the tip of his rods. I don't plan on doing that, but was curious about what else they are good for.
  13. I am using an H2O Express bag I got at a tackle show on clearance for $8. It's like $40 at academy so I picked it up. I replaced all the boxes that came with the bag with Falcon FTO boxes. I use the old boxes to store extra tackle I don't need at the moment. If you could find that bag for a good price I highly recommend it. I wouldn't pay $40 for it though, I would probably get a Falcon speed bag if I was gonna spend that much money.
  14. I do the same with a solo cup or a 5 gallon bucket. The best part its free.
  15. It's a sea of Blue in Nashville tonight. Titans 31-10
  16. Ultra soft is just as strong as regular hybrid, it is however a lot more limp making it better for spinning reels. I use regular hybrid on all my reels, spinning and baitcasting, it isn't that stiff. I also soak it with KVD line and lure conditioner which makes the line handle a lot better.
  17. I have a 7'3 MH carrot stix, and two crucial rods 7' MH/MF crankbait rod, and 6'8 MXF dropshot spinning rod. I love all of them, but the crucials are my favorite by far. I think they are more sensitive, and better quality than the carrot stix.
  18. Of course they have a shot at beating them. It's the SEC, not the big 10.
  19. I caught a keeper (15") largemouth on a mag rat-l-trap 3/4oz. The trap was so big it just got wedged diagonally in his mouth and he couldn't throw it.
  20. 12# mono or co-poly would be fine for the curado and citica. Do you know what model they are? As far as the spinning reel I can't help you there.
  21. I've found that my drop shot rod (crucial 6'8 mxf) works really well for small crankbaits as well as floating rapalas.
  22. What about Alabama at Tennessee. Even though UT sucks this season it will still be a good game.
  23. Sweet.... Who did you order it from?
