I love the paint jobs!! The BigM pic 2 is my favorite! How in the world did u get it to come out like that. Did you use foil tape on the bait and paint it so the foil would be the scales? That is AWESOME!!

I've marked line, but don't know why. Makes it look better on the spool or something, i don't think the fish care.

if you have ever dropped a live crawfish into the water, u'll notice that it sinks slowly. I theorize that the Beaver baits mimic a crawfish perfectly and the wide body helps slow the sink rate and it'll kinda glide through the water. Although, i've used them on t-rigs, c-rigs, and dropshots with great success. All about experimenting to get the most out of a bait.

There are alot of copy cats to the Sweet Beaver and they all work the same. I just use a generic beaver that is sold through Barlow's, called the Yo-Mama, its like $14.50 for a pack of 50 which is more cost effecient than the name brands and I haven't noticed a difference in any of them performance wise.

Alot of times I just use a 4/0 EWG just because its already tied. When the worm is torn up on both ends, then I'll wacky rig.

Zero dollar! I don't think color is the most important thing. I believe that the with the right presentation a bass will hit any color. I've had them bite pink crankbaits in ultra clear water.

I like matt lures, Storm's Wildeyes Shad, and I can't wait to try out the new 4" Tru Tungsten this spring!

The best "Cheap" Swimbait out there in my mind!! Totally worth it. Caught mutiple 5+lbs on them. My best personal one day 5 fish weighed 23lbs, all caught on the Wild Eye's! However just like any other swimbait, there are times and places for it and I have a hard time puttin them down and i've had alot of days with 0's.

I've had good success on Storms Thunderstick Jr. however, i'm not a good jerkbait fisherman, so i don't throw them often but in the right circumstances (mostly in the fall with alot of wind and partly cloudy skys) they just flat out catch fish.

I think that in a flippin/pitchin situation, most of the time there is moderate to heavy cover, so the fish will see the lure before the line. I haven't used hi vis yellow but that is just my theory. If you think it'll affect it, you could use red which would look like blood from the bait plus u'll see the line.

I tried it when they first hit the market, and I the first few spools were good, then a few spools later it would break all the time for no apparent reason even after I had just respooled. I don't know if they changed their formula for the line so I may give it another chance seeing as how the economy is pushing me to look to save anywhere I can.

Avid, with Crucial in a close 2, although, why isn't the Falcon Cara on there?

Matt Lures, Storm Swim Shads (Shad color), and some new tru-tungstens. I haven't been able to try out the tru-tungstens yet, darn frozen over lake, but in the tube they look neat.

St. Croix Avid and Falcon Cara's are tied for the best in my mind.

Never heard of Vicious line & Lure, must be new from Vicious this year. I would still have to go to the tried and true KVD Line&Lure Conditionor, however, u may want to get a bottle of Vicious to try out and let everyone else here know how it worked for you.

The Stren event wasn't interfering w/ a B.A.S.S. event so he had time to fish it.

You cant tell me that there isn't another fish the size of Mac Weasly's unoffical 25lber swimming in Cali. And that so called 28lber no where near that. Its more like 11.

I really only use 1 crankbait color all the time: Firetiger: b/c it matches the perch which are a favorite item in MN for bass. Lipless cranks is a different story: Red Craw, Blk/Chart., and Chrome/Blue Back/Orange Belly

I would think that they would replace them. But I don't know if they will if its been a year since the orginal purchase date.
