Your Weapon When Fishing Pads
Frog over the top of the pads. If that doesn't work try flipping a tube into the middle of the pads and gradually work your way out. Remember most of the time the biggest fish is in the thickest part of the cover.

shelf-life of sufix elite monofilament
As long as it wasn't sitting in the sun or experienced cold or extreme heat conditionsit should be fine.

St Croix Avid vs. G. Loomis IMX
I've never fished w/ a IMX but I have held one in my hand and I like how the avid feels in my hand better. Either way though, I've never heard anything bad about either rod.

More speed?
I would have to say thats in the ball park for that boat. I would have to say 58 is the max ur going to get out of it. If it had the max hp of 175 I would have to say it would run 58- 62 mph. I've been in a few of these boats and thats about as fast as we are able to get.

New Curado Spotted...
I really hope its like the old Bantam Curados. Wish they still made them and still hate shimano for discountinueing them. sigh.

best rod around $200
St. Croix Avid for $160 to 200 depending on the model.

Handpoured vs. "Regular" plastics
handpours are great! The pourer can make any bait in any color they want! I love handpouring my own baits when I have the time, but I only seem to be able to have enough time on my hands in the winter.

Culprit Worm

Fisher Bass Boats
If you get a chance to buy a fiberglass Fisher buy it!!!! They are the best boat that I've ever rode in! Wish one of my two friends would sell me theirs. ;D

Berkley HollowBelly Swimbait
I'm sorry, can't see the justice of buying a 3pack for $9. Thats $3 per bait that'll last maybe 5 fish. Rather stick w/ Bass Magics.

10lb Invisx on Spinning ?
forgot to mention, if u do insist on using 10lb fluoro on spinning reel, get a 4000 size reel. the larger reel has a wider/larger spool which helps keep the line from jumping off all the time.
-
10lb Invisx on Spinning ?
I have had problems w/ 10lb fluro on spinning reels no matter wat the brand. I put 8lb as a max for fluoro on my reels.
-
Shimano Spinning reels made in Malaysia?!
as long as their not made in china, i don't worry about it.
-
Shimano Citica... Side plate made of plastic?
The Citica is a very dependable reel! Just make sure that you don't accidently spray carb & choke cleaner on the sideplate. the graphite compostite melts if it gets sprayed by this stuff.
-
Crank bait line?
8-10lb P-Line Fluorocarbon is my reccomendation. Or use 20lb Power Pro Braid w/ a 2 foot leader of P-Line.
-
leaders
with my 50lb braid I use 15lb P-Line 100% fluorocarbon.
