T-Bone

This is a good bait for fishing around trees. I like to T-rig them with a 3/0 hook. Some times they work weightless as well.

It all depends on what the bass are wanting. Some days they tear the red hook baits to pieces, other days they won't give it a second look.

I always hope to find things that I use but none of the big chains seem to carry, so that if I need it I don't have to order it online.

Worst purchase would be buying my girlfriend a fishing pole...first cast, both treble hooks from the crankbait dug deep into my thigh, that was fun getting them out. Other than that, Berkley vanish, Berkley Gulp, and the chatterbait.

I don't use them but a friend of mine uses them often t-rigged, I've seen him catch several nice fish with them (5lbs+), and they seem to hold up pretty well when catching lots of fish.

Everything said so far plus zoom trick worm and culprit ribbon tail worm.

P-Line CXX is a real good all purpose line imo.

Have you tried dynamite? That usually works.

You could also consider a soft plastic jerkbait like the zoom super fluke, plus its weedless. ;D

I dont think the bait monkey is going to be able to convince me to buy this one.
