Man Made Resevour Dries and lowers, help
a man made lake i fish every now and then has dryed up to the point of lowering a good 20 feet. this is a lake with the biggest bass, but also the most careful and reserved The good news is you can now cast from anywhere, their used to be trees blocking everything my question is, is their any tricks or ways to fish after a lake has lowered? anything i should know? i went out yesterday and didnt catch squat on my regular plastics and harbodys... finally a put on a descent size in line spinner and almost got in a 3lber.....the treble hoook was too small i think for a good hoook-in but that was the only action.... any ideas.....im exscited because i can finally fish anywhere i want without any trees in the way

Im just HAPPIE theirs CRAPPIE!!HELP
I fish marsh creek in PA and the bass fishing has really come to a stop..... so im fishing different smaller lures iv never used and i tye on a largmouth bass deep diver (looks like a bass minow) and to my suprise, something tears into my line hard, but the fight was quick..... turned out to be one of my favorites-A CRAPPIE...... i never even knew they were in their, so now im excited......i always loved fishing for crappie and perch, but all i ever got was bluegills...... Do you think its possible that all the panfish i have seen in the lake i have mistook as bluegill and are really crappies??? also, what conditions, patterns to look for, baits been discussed, should i look for deep or shallow, topwater work on crappies, or just bluegills??? I SEE MYSELF GETTING INTO CRAPPIE FISHIGN BECAUSE I NEVER HAVE AND THE BASS FISHING IS DEAD RIGHT NOW....... HELP A BROTHER OUT

Stickbait
on the slow days, try a 4" senko - i always use junebug color when i fish the 4" regular days i would fish a 5" senko, some classic colors to use: "mad melon" , "Confetti" , "melon w/ black flake", i would worry less about colors and more about flake.....i like using senkos that have 2-3 different color flakes, i also prefer shiny flakes, but i must say....i have had the most consistant success with the melon seed with black flake honestly, iv heard in most cases that color doesnt matter, GO WITH WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL CONFIDENT

Bass or something else?
a lot of times the "jumping fish" is not what you think.......but sometimes it is.........hopefully bass i would say though, a better chance being a larger panfish....iv seen them just up to 3 feet in the air or maybe a carps tail is hitting the top of the water while its feeding, creating an illusion of a jumping fish i pray for you that it is bass!

Different types of vegitation.....approach
ANother quetsion for the experts..... the lake i fish the most (MArsh Creek) is a very vegitated lake...... it has a little of everything, witches hair, grass, ect anybody have any comments on which is the best to fish? also, it seems that i get caught up on this stuff no matter how weedless i go, any suggestions.... sometimes i feel like if i dont get a bass ont he first plop in the water, then it aint happeneing due to the crud that gets all over my bait..... thanks

Inflatable boats....just got one....help

Bass tosses back worm when jumping. How??
id say its just this..... the bass gets out of the4 water and loses all the pressure from the water once in the air, the bass can shake as hard as he can,. and that motion gets the hook to fall out happens to me quite a bit.....

Just Curious...
also, my aREA must suck.....iv probably only caught 1 or 2 fish in my LIFE that were even close to 5lbs........
-
Just Curious...
im glad someone brought this up..... i guess im doing something wrong, because i would say, on average, i catch about 3 bass every trip....but sometimes even less, soemtimes a few more..... 40 bass a trip? is that even possible? i meen, are we averaging here? or you really catch 40 fish in 4 hours... that would meen that you catch 10 an hour? d**n....good job i dont even know if i would keep fishing if I caught 40 fish.....it would be boring after a while.... i know ponds are much more actiuve, and you catch a lot more, and i do fish spots that are known for a "slow bite" but still...... anyone who catchs 40 fish in an outing needs to turn pro and make some money....

Actually caught my first Musky.....and it was on a Senko worm....??? It was a baby Tiger..... couldnt have weighed over a pound ... their funny looking, color wize, at first i thought it was a bass, but then when i got it out of the water, it looked like somebody stretched it out, like a piece of clay as for the fight, their really was none, this poor guy didnt know what was going on, and came right in....kind of dragged him along the top of the water......i was excited..... The first thing i noticed was the things eyes.... they almost didnt look like the eye of a fish, too pretty

Berkley "Iron-silk" line, what you think?
Berkley "Iron Silk" I gotta say, the name sold me....... I got this real cheap on sale, been using it for a few weeks..... and i have mixed feelings.... HELP ME OUT casting- not good at all, and the string can catch itself and tangle pretty bad sometimes nots- good stuff, i love tying this stuff feel- kind of heavy feel, not very sensitive visibility- its dark green, but is apparently less visible then it looks like strength- A+, you gotta cut this line to break it, some strong stuff durability- it almost feels like it is soft on the outside, and gets nicked up pretty easy, but i still have yet to see it break Anybody care to help me sway to one side.......anyone use this stuff before? it definately needs help, but has some better aspects....

Going ultra light
i used to fish exclusively Ultra light, and was using 4 lb test here is my suggestion, sont go overboard like i did 4 lb test is rediculous for bass, even small bass,. aand if their are hangups its even worse i found that in the middle is the best i got a shiumano sedona and love it, i use the highest test you can put on it, 8lb, and it is perfect

Sick of Senko's
its funny, it almost seems like some people have Personal resentment towards the senko.....lol i meen, people get weird when senkos are being discussed, and im not sure why seems like when i go to the local lakes, im the only one fishing them, so maybe im not sick of them because it hasnt been crammed down my mouth like some of you guys..... i dont see tho, how fishing a senko is anymore boring than fishing anything else? i meen, unless your gonna do a fast retrieve, its just a fun a bait as anything else...... maybe if you dont catch anything, but if your catching them on senkos, and yuou stil think its boring, than maybe fishing isnt the best hobby for you to enjoy Maybe this is wrong, maybe right, but i have a sneaking suspicion that the people who hate senkos are proabably not catching anything on them, and mad at the fact that they hear all the time how good they are, and havnt mastered them themselves........ that is the only reason i would get "sick of senkos" maybe not......lol also, try it weightless, and it makes fishing it a little funner, but im sure you already have i love them, werightless but i dont understand why it seems like 4" is the standard??? i will only go to 4" if the fishing is SLOW if not, than 5" is my everyday size, and even the 4" will catch some small guys sometimes.......
