Whats your fav topwater popper style bait and why?

Spro popping frog because I can throw it anywhere. Hardbait is a tie between PopR and chug bug.

I got a little TD Popper, as an "extra" in a pack of baits I bought from Deep that caught them well on Oneida last fall.

I love the SPRO Popping Frog (especially in Black), but I have a Rebel Pop-R that is pretty hard to beat and a close third is my bone colored Creek Chub jointed popper.

Same here on the popping frog. As for hard poppers, I started years ago with a Pop-R, and always caught fish on it, but spent the better part of the last 8-10 years "looking" and fishing others hoping to find something "better", and have come full circle back to the Pop-R.

I did the same thing ww2farmer, tried others but went right back to the lure I caught my first bass on.

I will agree that the spro popping frog is pretty great. I prefer pumpkin, as my frogs down here are brown.

Favorite hard popper for the longest was the H2O express poppers. However, after using a few Damiki D Pop 70's... I'm sold. They are a great size, cast well, and can walk the dog like a spook. I like the Holo Bluegill color myself, but the shad colors work as well.

My wifes PB (6lbs) came off a rebel pop r silver and black. She didnt care for the bait at first but since she caught that fish she thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread.

I am right now, as we speak looking at a shopping cart full of one popper from each company that is 10$ and under. Looking to see if I can find something as good or better than the POPr, now I know people swear by others, but if these little bad boys catch fish at WAY less then others, how can i switch.

I love the Pop-R and while they are not all made great, you get a few that are always dead on, the spit great, pop loud and walk well.

I really want to try a few new ones, but at the cost of around 50-60 bucks for 5-6 lures....I am not sure it will be worth it.

River2sea really has my eye as they build quality lures, and so does the Zell pop by xcalibur. We will see.

try the river2sea you will not be disappointed. great bait with great build quality.

Yellow Magic

Rebel Pop-R

Has to be the Pop-R in any color

Probably rebel popr however really want to try the new LIVETARGET frog popper

caught my pb 8lb bass with pop-r and throw it  quite often however,a black buzzbait is my go to top water.have my most luck with a pop-r when i work it slowly i seem to enjoy the quicker pace of the buzzbait  so i always pick that up first.

magnum pop r in baby bass color and i walk it , the more i can make it throw water and spit the more they hammer it and i get some good ones

Another fan of the Rebel! But my best bass on popper type bait came off the Hula popper in coach dog.
