I haven't had pb&j in awhile I ate it every day for the first 20 years of my life. I've been tempted to run out and get the fixin's

i would have to agree...the profit margin on those sandwiches has to be ridiculous too.

I don't eat too many pb&j's anymore.  I am the only one, in the house, that eats pb so I have the whole jar to myself.  Usually put it on apples, or crackers.

Now a days the PB & nutella is all the rage!

1. Assemble PBJ sandwich.

 

2. Butter bread.

 

3. Grill like you would a Grilled Cheese.

 

4. Die happy.

You do the above with Nutella and cherry jam on brioche and you'll die happy, and your tongue will slap you back to life.

Toasted or not toasted? Not, but it's good toasted too.

Crust or no crust? Crust for sure

Chunky or smooth? Either but I prefer smooth

Jelly type? Any but I prefer homemade strawberry or blackberry. Grape and apple are good too.

Bread type? White is my favorite.

I'm not picky....take all that natural this and organic that and...well....never mind....if I REALLY get a wild hair, I'll pull it apart and put cheetos in the middle

I just had a pb&J sandwich.  This thread got me craving. 

 

White bread crust on, grape jelly, regular peanut butter, but it was delish!!
