What do most of y'all have the best luck with in the spring? Ribbon tail, frogs, poppers?

I'm out the door right now, and this is what's coming with me.

Fishing from shore spring time bass fishing can be tough. The temps are still chilly.

the problem is as it warms up the bass are in the most northern part of the body of water where it gets the most sun. I think there close to the beds but it's pre spawn.

A lizard would work well.

Jerkbaits, jigs, and sekos (wacky) fished very slow.

I managed three yesterday on three different lures: Jig, Rat L Trap and Husky Jerk.

What brand fluke is that on the chatterbait? We have shiners where I fish but I don't see many gold plastics.

Lipless baits, spinnerbaits, jigs, shallow running crankbaits, and t-rigged small profile creature baits.

Texas rigged lizards and worms, red eye shads/rippin raps, spinnerbaits

lizards are working for me right now. the main thing at present is finding the fish. that's the tricky part. catch one for me.

For me, lipless crankbait, susp. jerkbait, and T-rig lizzard.

That's an understatement if I've ever seen one. I'm still looking for one this year half at big as the one he just caught.

Last year shortly after the ice thawed here, a Roboworm on a dropshot was out-performing everything

A floating minnow is one of my favorite  baits for mid spring and later . .
