Sox go into Yankee Stadium and take 2 of 3 over the weekend. Go back to Fenway only to lose the first 2 to a Rockies team that's supposedly not as good.

 

Should I be worried that our team's opening day starter is in the bullpen mopping up?

I was at the “Reverse Boycott” game the other night and part of the 28K filling a stadium that holds over 55K not including Mt Davis. Not sure if it was on the national radar as MLB wants a nice, quiet move to the Las Vegas strip. Free, fan funded Kelly green “SELL” T-shirts were given away, chants of support to “Stay in Oakland!” and even more enthusiastic and loud “Sell the team!”.

 

But in the top of the 5th Inning when the lead off batter came up to the plate, to honor 55 years in Oakland and protest the move to Vegas was incredible. Everyone in the stands stood up and were completely silent during the entire at bat. It was eerily silent when you think of that many people in attendance and have a pin drop moment for that length of time.

 

 

O"s take 2 out of 3 from Toronto.

Tyler Wells turned in his third quality start in his last four outings, surviving two home runs from Danny Jansen, and Yennier Cano and Félix Bautista handled the last seven outs in a 4-2 victory

 and the 23rd comeback win of the season improved the Orioles to 43-25. They secured their 15th series and pushed the Blue Jays six games behind them in the standings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don’t know if the O’s will catch the Rays. But boy! Are they trying!

Shoot man, I don't know whether to "like" your post or rate it with a sad emoji. I hate to see what's happening to you guys. First your football team and now your baseball team. My city lost our football team a few years back and it would be a total gut punch to take our baseball team too. Your situation is even more crazy because of the A's being one of the most successful franchises in MLB history. Bummer summer.

Naw, @RB 77didn’t. When Lacob bought the Dubs he said that they would eventually be moving back to San Francisco, which is where they were originally based. I did see my first Warriors game in “The City” at the Cow Palace. 

Braves are absolutely rolling right now and still the favorite to be World Series champs again. Doing this without their top 2 starting pitchers in Wright and Fried.

He’s no Freddie Freeman, but we couldn’t ask for a better replacement. I think every Braves fan loves having him. I know I do.

What amazes me about the Twins is they are currently 2 games under .500 and yet they have a +22 run differential. Not sure how that works unless they are just clobbering teams in their division.

O"s win after gettin blown out friday night by the Mariners. The bounceback win, the fourth walk-off and first of McKenna's career, improved the Orioles’ record to 46-29 and moved them within 4 ½ games of the first-place Rays, who have lost five of their last seven.
