Ditto, unless it is an electronic control board that has died, dryers are easy and parts are cheap on the internet.

The plastic housing on the top of the drum keeps shredding and then clothes get caught in it and are destroyed. We’ve replaced the housing several times and the wife is DONE. There’s no coming back from this one LoL

The ALX will just have to wait another month or two

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Woke up this morning to the dryer crapping out. So instead of buying the ALX rod and some tackle I had in my cart today I get to buy a dryer.

Happy Friday

Don’t do it. Repair it and buy tackle.

The Bait Monkey has an accomplice.

I tried resisting the tackle warehouse sale temptation, but ended up spending at least enough to get free shipping

Dryer’s usually have simple repairs like replacing a belt or that piece whose name I forgot that starts the dryer.

If you take the time to properly diagnose the issue, it might be cost effective to repair it. I am not a mechanical genius but last thanksgiving my dryer crapped out on me. My wife wanted to buy a new one but I didn’t really want spend that cash. Went to you tube for research, bought the needed part and did the rest and spent a mere fraction of what it might have cost to call in a technician or buy a new one.

Your bait monkey ?  asked asked me to speak to you on his behalf, lol.

I hope the dryer didn’t fully crap out on you.

Spend a little more money and insure the drum rides on roller bearings and not those shims.  You'll never buy another dryer. Only replace the heating element after 10 yrs....

“The wife is DONE.” That’s not a statement. That’s a command, lol.

I missed this before responding. My wife was probably at 90% on the DONE meter with our dryer but I asked her to give me a chance to fix it.  She was gracious enough to let me try, because I believe it would have been a double purchase. “Since we’re getting a new dryer, don’t you think we should also get a new washer?”?

“Don’t you think” can be translated to “Let’s get...”

Last time my wife fancy new dryer took a poop on us and  it would have cost 400$ to fix fortunately it was still under warranty so we were able to get it done for free, theses newer washer/dryers are expensive with all their electrical stuff.

Fix the dryer..... don’t let the monkey ? tell you different mr @Gundog

Well, not exactly a "sale" but I picked up a pair of factory refurb 7" Garmins with Side View for pretty decent prices.

EchoMAP 73sv with the HD inland lakes mapset for the console: $419 shipped from GPScity.com

Striker 7SV for the trolling motor (wish it were the newer Plus model, but oh well): $319 from thegpsstore.com

Under $750 shipped for a pair of 7" seemed like the easiest route to go for now.  Unfortunately it doesn't seem anyone makes much in the way of console mounts for a 98 Stratos.

Maybe tomorrow I'l even put the boat in the water for the first time, lol.

Vimage outdoors has limited colors of senkos for

$5.99 @ 10% off so $5.40/pack.

Free shipping if you buy 40 worth.

Website moosejaw has some pretty good deals on rainware and fishing shirts from Columbia. Just picked up a jacket and hooded shirt for under 100 with free shipping. Use the code hotdog for 20% off anything full price.

Even though I didn't NEED anything I finally succumbed to the monkey and ordered enough crankbaits from TW to get free shipping.

Yeah - same here.  I have had good luck with the SPRO Little John MD 50's and unfortunately, they're not super cheap.

Outlet Bait & Tackle is having an End of Summer Sale and they have VMC round bend, short shank treble hooks in size #2 and #4 at 70% off so you're paying $.59 per 4pk. If you use "giftship" you should be able to get free shipping too. I just bought 15 packs of #2's and 12 packs of #4's...108 hooks total for $16.12.

I hate you, yet like you at the same time....Never knew about this site and just bought $35 worth of plastics and miscellaneous things I probably don't need.

They do have some good prices on Yamamoto grubs, and Z-man stuff.

Then you really don't want me to tell you about the blowout deals at http://www.tacklesupplydepot.com...right? :hahaha-024:

+1 to Outlet Bait, I've gotten so much stuff from them over the years and they hand write a thank you on the packing slip every time.  Subscribe to their email newletters, in the past they've had a couple of Yamamoto Truckload sales where I stocked up on almost every color/style/size of Yamamoto plastic for life.

Sorry guys but Ebay has another 20% off sale.  I don't need anything so of course I'm looking at a Tatula LT spinning reel.  There's a bunch that can be had for just over $100 with the coupon.  Happy hunting.

Nice - stackable with the $20 off $100 coupon when paying with a credit card or debit card.  Just picked up a Zillion 721MHRB for $140 with these two coupons.

Of course they do haha. Just bought a new reel Friday....

Happen to have the code? I’m not seeing it on my eBay app

***nevermind it just popped up***
