I kind of got over on the bait monkey for once. 

Man it's been quiet.  All of these "Black Friday starts now!!!" deals I've been seeing that really are just kinda Meh at best have really dulled anything that seems like a good deal.

 

Plus, my lower unit started tapping, and I'm afraid I'm about to need to open it up and replace gears - there was a lot of metal in the oil I just drained out of it.  Pulling the propshaft carrier this weekend to assess.  

 

I need a 20% of everything ebay code like soon if so - would save me $50 on the gearset.

Walked into TackleDirect and noticed a Megabass Destroyer Daemos and War Hammer marked down to $299.90. I believe they’re leftovers from their most recent Clearance Canyon Sale and are not listed online. My buddy picked up Chronarch 201E which was sitting in the case for $99.00! 

 

Somebody please call TD and buy the Daemos before I do something I’ll regret.

Went to Meijer today, which is rare as I don't shop there often. I actually went for the wife because they had Sara Lee pumpkin pies on sale today only, haha. I didn't know they even had fishing stuff but noticed some rods against a back wall and decided to check it out......  Well I lucked out, they had a few different colors of 5" Senkos on sale for $5.19 a pack, I cleaned them out.

Yeah, I should have read the details. It's only in-store, and starts at 5am and goes for 5 hours while supplies last.

Also would be curious how many they have. Always skeptical of the while supplies last and think I have read on here in years past that Cabelas has had very low stock on items for sales like this. 

 

I got a flyer once from them in the mail, walked in the house and called and they were already sold out of the item:(

 

Maybe it is different with BPS owning them now.

Literally says right after that *restrictions apply see bps or cabelas.com for details. Website says clear as day at the top it's 50$ min order. 

BPS has Tourney Special casting rods priced at 29.97 down from 49.99 while they last...the 2019 models are already out of stock...

Academy's going to have the Lews Mach1 Baitcaster combo for $79, and the H2O express Mettle MT2 reels for $39 - those are actually a decent feeling reel.  Onyx Auto-inflatable vest for $59 isn't bad either.

I would think so.  It's usually the same players that are excluded: Shimano, Daiwa, Megabass, Loomis, Simms, etc.  I always hear that you can get the discount on excluded brands if you call though.

I have also heard this and so I tried calling in for the 20% discount on a Megabass rod during the sale last year and they shot me down.
