Yeah, just tried to use it and MONEY20 code for a reel from seller ALF, who usually participates. No dice on either code.........

 

Oh well, I've fed the monkey way to much recently.

So far I’ve found that sportsmansoutfitters and alpha2omega sellers work with the coupon

Ordered another Curado DC for $199, but they are back ordered for ALF...hopefully they'll get them before the weather gets too cold to fish.

Dicks Sporting Goods has an extra 25% off on fishing clearance rods and reels (i.e.-Shimano Exage which is normally $99.99 is marked down to $79.99 and now you get an extra 25% off that price so it brings it down to $59.99 shipped), the only catch is the model selection is limited on most items.

I've been eyeing those.  But, I'm also a cyclist, and in Shimanos cycling components SLX is good stuff but kinda mid grade, but I'm having trouble not buying higher spec stuff when they're labeling it the same as their bike stuff.  Hmm, wonder if my bike shop discount carries over to the fishing gear.

Considering getting a Shimano Slx 

I grabbed a Curado DC in 6.2, trying to stop myself from ordering one in 8.5. The fact that it's backordered helps! ?

Wish they had some LH Curado DC's in stock. Still might order one and just wait.

I emailed ALF and they said they expected the 150XG in 10/24, if not sooner. Worth emailing or calling to see about the 151's.

The ebay 20% thing kills me, I had a Curado DC in my cart all night and finally closed the tab. I really want one but I am reel-heavy as hell at the moment.

I don't think there are any Curado DC's on Ebay that qualify for the 20% off...only ALF at the moment.

Never!  The sv103’s and sv105’s are my core reels, if anything I am gonna buy a few more to hoard. 

 

I kinda want to get a nice long crankbait rod and a Curado DC and see if I can get 3/4oz lipless into low earth orbit.
