I spent 4 years in the Army. I was stationed at Fort Campbell home of the 101st Airborne (Air Assault). Spent most of that time in the field. Including 8 months and 10 days in the desert for Desert Shield, later called Desert Storm. Thanks to all my armed services brothers and sisters.  For those who have served and are currently serving, freedom takes on a meaning that the protected with never understand.
