Vietnam era Navy.  Spent my tour in New London, CT.  After college,  many years later, I ended up working for DLA in Subsistence for 37 years.  So at some point if you were in during the last 30 years or so. I might have been responsible for getting you fed.

Current Active Duty US Air Force 2 year and got 18 more to go.

Former Soldier here. Served in Supply/S-4, but mostly as Chaplain Assistant (Religious Affairs NCO now...). One tour to Iraq from '08-'09. Got out after 12+ years in Dec 2018. Sometimes I miss it, sometimes I remember how much crap we dealt with.

 

On another note: A close friend who still served recently committed suicide. Please please please reach out to someone if you have or have ever had suicidal thoughts. Please PM me and we can exchange info. PSA over.

Retired USAF (1987-2007) Electro-Environmental on FB-111A, A-10, and mostly F-16s to include 4 yrs with the USAF Thunderbirds - also a 1st Sergeant before retirement. Now I author F-35 troubleshooting tech data at the FtWorth Lockheed-Martin plant.
