I've never served but I'm gonna give a shout out to my Dad.  He retired from the Army back in '98 after 20 years of service.  He's a heck of a fisherman and taught me everything I know.  Thanks Dad!

And a special thanks to ALL of you as well!

10 years. United States Navy Aviation.

F14A & B. S3A & B.

Ronald Reagan was president when I volunteered. Bush the elder was elected when I reenlisted. Family seperation is brutal and my only reason for stepping away..

Hello Shipmate ~ and Welcome to Bass Resource

I Trained a Lot of Companies and a couple of thousand recruits, haven't really committed them all to memory

When did you Graduate & who was the other CC's training you ?

I think V-171 Trained & Graduated after I'd been reassigned from Cape May.

Thanks Chief (cant see any stars in the photo) long time lurker on here finally had to register!

My CC's were MKC Sikora and YN1 Howe, I believe I graduated Sept of 2005.  Had a great time at cape may in between all the beat downs, still talk to a handful of guys in the company as well.  That is the Douglas Munro statue you're standing in front of if I remember correctly!?

BMC is right.

Not me,  I had just left.   I know R. Howe though - I ran a few rounds of PEP (now RAMP) with him a few times I think.  Good Man.

A common threat in my era (even in the Marines) was "pack your trash, you're going to Adak"...
