What is everyone's favorite time of day to fish during this part of the year? Thanks!

Late afternoon and evening when the water temperature is at its highest (this time of year), but when it warms up in the summer i prefer dawn.

Depends where and for what. 

I'm on the northeast. 

 

Surf casting for striper: 11p-3a

Spring Bass: 3p-7p

Summer bass: 6a-12p/7p-12a

Trout: 6a-12p/7p-12a

 

I will fish any chance I get!

Anytime that I can go!!!!!

Early and late in the season here in the MI north woods, the warmest part of the day sees better results for me. 

May not always be the case, but more often than not, with the sun comes the fun.

As the season progresses and as the daylight lengthens & the water warms, sees me getting on the water earlier and staying later.

And during the warmest and busiest weeks, the cover of darkness feeds my addiction.

It was 70 last Saturday and I got out to make sure everything in the boat was working. Had to launch at 2 different lakes because lake 1 still had too much ice to much ice to open it up. Lake 2 was in winter drawdown. Was able to open her up but I did end up hitting something that put a nice nick in the prop. All the area ramps are open now so next weekend I should be fishing.

I'll be in deep water next week. They don't raise the river to summer pool until May 1st which will pose issue to the April tournaments that are scheduled.

Still haven't brought her back from Wisconsin.

 

Good question, but tough to answer because different members are dealing with different seasonal periods.

 

In our location, bass are currently in the 'pre-spawn' season.

During the pre-spawn (anywhere USA), I've found that it's unnecessary to set the alarm clock.

On the contrary, I've found the best 'time-of-day' to be Late Afternoon and Evening

when solar gain has taken hold and water temperatures are highest.

This time of year, sometime after lunch until an hour or so before dark, but it's all good - they usually don't start biting until I get there

The colder climate guys are going to give a different answer than the warmer climate guys .

It's brutal here.   I just picked my boat up after some routine service and I thought I was going to get blown off of the road trailering it.   I really love early and late season fishing because I don't worry about getting up so early.  

 

Favorite part of the day early spring are those days where you freeze your bippy off motoring off, but then the morning warms and eventually there is that one exact moment where you actually feel a little bit of warmth in your bones.  That exact moment is my favorite.

Sorry to say this but= better you than me!

I tell myself the the best bite is afternoon because it is too cold here in SoCal in the morning.  Caught a dozen yesterday... in the afternoon! 

daylight till dark.................

Normally it's after it starts to warm up later in the day, but the last 2 times I've been out, it's been best early on before noon despite it still being cold out. 

This time of year I like to go out in the afternoon.  It's usually a bit warmer.

Low light conditions.  The first hour of light, and the last hour of light.  Bite is usually the best of the day.  The wind is usually lightest of the day.  The average fisherman usually isn't there yet.  Nothing but good things  happen when you get there early, or decide to stay late in the day.
