Don't you hate it when you're fishing down a bank and someone else decides they need to fish there worse than you do?

Woke up Sunday morning to have my coffee on the porch.  This is what I saw.

 

Bloody traffic cones!

Those cones are up to prevent "turnarounders," since I am the first driveway on a dead end street.  I've even had people run over the cones, right in front of me.

 

Here's how the day progressed:

 

The hopper bite was on at our pond this morning!

A memorable fishin trip.

Loons in the fog. This is a different lake, and a different loon couple. Didn't notice any chicks with this pair.

 

My daughters first outing in years and landed 3 over 2 pounds......

I was getting concerned about having someone to fish with in my latter years, but it seams that problem may be solved......She also said we needed a bass boat.....we settled on a Lund Pro V

One of the 2 year olds is feeling energetic today....

Saw some deer last night, out in the kayak with my oldest.  Was nice to get out with him.  He's 18, and pretty much never around.

Our baseball season ended a couple of weeks ago so the coaches family's got together and went to a futures game in a suite. Had a lot of fun.

 

Next week we're taking the team to the Pawtucket Red Sox game (Triple A) for our season ending gathering. Should be fun.

Yesterday the seas were a bit rough so we went over to Cape Porpoise where it was calmer. Got a nice pic of Goat Island Lighthouse.

I was thinking it was one of those fancy cakes that are supposed to represent something else...in this case sliced brisket! Boy was I wrong.
