I like to warn guys at the boat ramp before I let mine out of the truck that mine might growl and bark like they're dangerous, but unless you're a tennis ball, they're completely harmless. 

As they get ready for this years Classic, flashback to the first one I attended, the 2013 Classic at Grand Lake, OK. If you ever get the chance to go to one, do it. This was the final day weigh in when Cliff Pace would eventually be crowned the champion. I woke up at 5am to watch takeoff, spent all day on the water, watched the weigh in before driving home. Got home, parked the boat, changed, worked my shift that night, it was a long night ?

It was about 70f in London today! Keep running the V8s America, loving it!

Back in my days (or nights rather), of chasing big catfish. Much easier to do when I didn't have a wife and kids at home and staying out all night and sleeping all day wasn't a big deal. Probably 16 or 17 years old with my long lost childhood friend Corey, RIP (say no to drugs kids). We originally thought this was a huge channel cat because there was not suppose to be any blue cats in this little lake and no connecting waters, but I'm pretty sure now it was an illegal transplant that someone put in the lake. One of the hardest fighting catfish I've ever caught whatever it was even though it was only 35.5 pounds. Had to chase it all over in my 2 man.

1st Bass I've caught this year! It's also my new PB!

Just seeing the weatherman's stupid face with his stupid smile telling us how we're going to get more stupid snow, has me feeling some kind of way.

Not so much our dogs now, but my last dog, that idiot loved to eat bees and never seemed to get stung somehow.

Local lake was supposed to open tomorrow for boating and fishing.

80% covered in ice and 4 to 6 inches of blowing snow forecast for the weekend. 

cold weather forecast for all next week.

opening day was postponed for 2 weeks?.

Well I’m really trying to feel bad for ya, but I’m still looking at 24” of ice around here and likely another month and a half ( best case scenario), before my boat is floating anywhere. Oh the joy of winter ?

After posting the 7 lb'r I'm somewhat hesitant posting this dink that I caught about an hour later.

 

 

2.85 lbs.

That won't work. You need to disassemble all of them, scramble all the parts together, only then will spring like weather appear....Sadly it'll go away once you get them back together.
