It's with great sorrow to tell you that Al Wohlbach, a member since 2006, was killed in a motorcycle accident on August 21st - the last day he visited these forums.

Al was a terrific contributor and knowledgeable angler. He was always helpful and willing to pass on his experience to others.  He will be deeply missed.

My condolences to his family, and his friends here on BassResource.

So very sad.  Al was a lot of help to me in my decision to retire in Dandridge. My thoughts go out to his friends and family.   Wow..... :(

RIP Al. We will miss you.

I work at the same Bass Pro Shop that Al did. While I never knew him, I have heard a bunch of Al stories and never a bad word about him. RIP

That's very sad. My thoughts and prayers go to his family today.

My condolences to his friends and family. He was one of the guys who's advice and opinion I always valued. He will certainly be missed here.

This is the first time I've logged on to BR in a long time. It's terrible to hear of the loss of another long time member. I remember Al pretty well. I'm so sorry for his families loss.
