Featured Replies

Last couple days both Abu and Berkley social media have said a huge announcement is coming Thursday. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

my guess is that they have new ownership.

I don't know if this is new because I couldn't find a date in it.

Pure Fishing is being sold.

Don’t have a clue but with the new changes to the BASS Elite Series announced & Major League Fishing it could be a new sponsorship opportunity.

The Big Berkley announcement is.....They are one of 2 primary sponsors for Bass Masters.

The big announcement was that Jordan Lee signed with them.

Big news is....I'm their new vice president of trying stuff out. Its not an upgrade as far as jobs go. More of a horizontal move from what I'm doing now. Pay is in the form of all the lures I can stuff in a Walmart shopping cart. Casual Fridays are optional. Taco Tuesdays are mandatory.

Give me a call, @Gundog....I've got this great idea for a lure...it's like a whopper plopper tail on a ned worm

Ssshhhh….don't tell the guys over at Savage Gear. They'll make it in under a week and charge $33 for it.

Isn't the Nettywop a dance?

All Abu and Berkley products will now (from this day forth) be under the name Zebco.

Just now finished reading this. I hope this doesn't affect the reel manufacturing in Korea. Pure Fishing was making some good reels over there for a few brands and every reel I have that was made there turned out to be good reels. (Pflueger President LP is one of my favorites)

Pure fishing particularly Abu Garcia and Berkley have had a great year and a HUGE week! Jordan Lee signs with them, then Justin Lucas and Josh Bertrand go 1-2 in the AOY race.

Congrats to Justin Lucas and Pure Fishing

A game changer in the industry. In a few years every manufacturer will have a version of the NedWop. Skeet Reese will be the spokesman for the Original NedWop. Versions will be made in crankbait and spybait form with down imaging, structure scan and its own mini power pole for those windy days. Trust me, it will revolutionize the way we look at lures, line, barometer pressure and fish.
