Congrats to LSU and their fans ... Bama made too many mistakes and bad decisions in the first half and put themselves in an early hole they could not overcome ... Burrow was uncanny and did us in ... Bama still has an outside shot for the playoffs ... stay tuned ...

Keep an eye on Minnesota’s head coach PJ Fleck over the next couple years and beyond. He took a nothing Western Michigan team and took them far. Now the Golden Gophers are turning into something after all these years. It’s pretty amazing what this guy has built from basically nothing with two schools now. I think in a year or two they’ll consistently be a top 15 or top 10 team.

if they can keep him ... already there's talk to bring him to Florida State ... and there will be others ... heard him on the Paul Finebaum show and he stated he intended to stay at Minn. ... we will see ... the money offered to him will be eye popping ...

They just resigned him this past week thru 2026. I don’t remember the specifics of the deal but they don’t want him going anywhere. I do remember it was $1million per year left on his contract but out if he left.

yeah, i knew that but the money some of these teams have access to is mind boggling ... 6 or 7 million a year with a bonus clause is not unheard of ... and big buyouts are not unusual ... it's insane ...

Yeah money talks that’s for sure. It’ll be interesting to see what he does the next few years, I imagine he’ll have plenty of big money offers in the future. I’ve been following him since he started at WMU. He’s got a good story, a ton of energy, and it seems everyone around him buys into his Row the Boat.

Oh yay, OU gets LSU. Not that it would have mattered if it were them or the Buckeyes. I gotta give it to them for making it there again I guess. I imagine JB will throw for 500 yards against the secondary of OU. The only thing OU "might" have in their favor is possibly the ability to control the clock.
