Greetings! Really just getting into fishing again and joined to read up and learn.

Already want a boat though.....forgot how peaceful and relaxing the whole process of fishing is.  The up before sunrise quiet, still waters, etc.

Not yet.  You?

Since the early eighties. Nice bass and crappie fishing.  They rent boats from johns up to pontoons.

Do rafts and jons have to be registered to fish out there?  Trolling motor only.

Private boats are not allowed. Their rentals have either/and trolling motors, outboards.  Go to lakepurdyfishing.com,

I’m in Chelsea, which if unfamiliar with the area is 15 miles southeast of Birmingham down Highway 280.
