Great action at Fork! Shaping up to be an epic week for MLF and the BPT. Loving it!

Those longstanding BPT records;) hahaha

MDJ is tearing it up right now, and his last was 7.5 and he said he hasn't moved 40 yards all day! Beast mode!

It's probably a zoom trick worm.

Yes, very likely. I don't know why I thought he said floating worm at some point but seems more likely to be a trick worm.

Is anyone else getting a Playback Network Error? On the live coverage.

Its back!! Made a deal with the bait monkey. Sure enough.....

My question:

Is he fishing this 'floating' on the surface and the fish are hitting it on the topwater?

Or does this worm actually sink? I don't see any weight on his rig, just looks like a worm and a hook.

I would love to learn more from someone who knows exactly how his whole setup is working.

Fork's bass are in pre-spawn/spawn, some bed fishing going on.

Hot baits are swimbaits, Senko type, & yes frogs!

Nah, mLf Is A dInK fEsT ?

LOL I've never seen so many guys with 5lb fish.

And over 80lbs on the first day?!

I wonder if all this hammering will eventually sizzle out by the 3rd or 4th day... due to pressure...

Fantastic Day 1.  So many hammers.

I missed the last 1/2 of the coverage which apparently included several Tanks !

Hope tomorrow proves just as entertaining . . .

Well my girls softball tourney was canceled last night so I came home and loaded the boat and was ready to head to Fork this morning. My buddy that was going to go apparently got the Keystonelightvirus last night and he didn't make it this morning. Guess I'm going to go have some pancakes and wait for the rain to subside and find a lake to go to. Maybe I can make it down there before Wednesday.

Won't get to watch a lot today, hope they slay them again.

Catching a 10 pounder on a frog has to be up there on the list of top 10 travel channel thrill rides

Doesn't seem possible.

Justin Atkins 10 pounder on spinning reel.  Awesome.

How about Bryan Thrift! An absolute hammer. My pick for greatest angler in the game! If you haven’t checked his podcast with Matt Arey called Let’s talk fish do yourself a favour. It is fantastic!

Just watched the replay of that great catch.

So nice to see these guys using gear that REQUIRES that they actually must PLAY a bass.

Congrats to Mr Atkins

I'm still waiting to see one of those 'Dink' fest events that the MLF detractor's complain about. I stopped watching BASS tournament events when Tommy, Zona, and McGinnis (RIP) took over because they talked only the basics of what was happening. Watch the MLF, and I'm in the boat live with Bryan Thrift as he's 'talking' all about what he's doing with his swim jig and watching his every move. With knowledgeable broadcasters who know how to go Deep on nuance. You just can't beat it. Watching again, Three in a row.
