What knot do you use to tie braid straight to your hook?

San Diego jam knot, or uni..depending on lure weight, ect..

Back in the 50's we used a braid knot before super braids became availble in the 80's.

The braid knot is basically a double line clinch knot. The knot ends up with 3 ends after cutting off the double line loop used to tie the knot and the tag end.

I still use the old braid knot because coated braids tend to slip with single line knots.

Shark knot, learned that from Zona a few years ago and haven’t looked back. 

Improved clinch knot.  

 

Snell for punching and Palomar for everything else.

Fishin' Fool knot which is a two eye loop uni. Hasn't failed me yet.

I didn’t even read your post to be honest. This is a great knot. Not the prettiest, but the fish don’t care.

Palomar I clinch it down as tight as I can but still leave a little extra tag end in case it’s not tight enough.

 

Palomar has always been my favorite but didn’t know it was good on braid  
 

I had to look up the Fishing Fool knot. I never heard of that one. 

 

The original braid knot is one I remember from the 80’s when braid first hit the market big time. 

Uni, or if worried, the Fish N Fool which (as already stated) is the Uni with the line going through the eye twice.

I've fished braided Cotton, Dacron, Micron, Suture Material (Silk), Micro Dyneema®, Kevlar, & Spectra.

 

Palomar ?

Fish-n-Fool better than palomar for sure.

I use a palomar, EVERYONE I know uses a palomar. I've never seen this knot fail, its the easiest knot in the world to tie and you can do it in the dark. What could be better than this?

A No-brainer if ever there was one!

I have seen the palomar knot fail due to the line crossing.  One of my friends was using it for a while and did not realize there was a correct and incorrect way of tying it .   

Palomar knot for braid, improved clinch for Fluoro or Mono. IMHO do not used the improved clinch on braid.

Same here, but I don't fish braid with hooks, only on frogs and this is my go to knot.  Also use it for mono and flouro.

I use the Trilene knot for every line type: braid, mono and fluoro.
