Tackle warehouse

Featured Replies

What is going on with tackle warehouse and all the no available back orders? Is it because of the covid 19 pandemic and all of those companies are non essential? Just curious

  • If shopping local means I help keep a local tackle shop in business, jobs intact, and have a source of the latest fishing info on lakes and rivers near me, then I haven't overspent a dime.

I'm not being argumentative but it's true that I might spend more at the local tackle shop. I truly don't mind because I do my best to buy local. It's important to me simply because as time has moved

  • 7 more $50 orders and I'll be able to wrap my boat in TW stickers.

I have some rod blanks and other components on order, with no idea when any of it will get in. Just spoke with my regular supplier, and they are experiencing slow, delayed and cancelled shipments. These are tough times for a lot of people. Have patience and keep the faith that this too shall pass.

Uh yeah, little thing called Coronavirus.

Yep, experiencing the same thing but not gonna fret......bigger things going on.

TW isn't essential business but are working with minimum staff to try to keep up with orders and falling behind. Try calling them and talk about your concerns.

Supply chains are starting to be affected by the stay at home orders across the country and as well a acrossed the globe.   These policies are essential to minimize the harm Covid-19 could potentially do to our population, but unfortunately shortages are too be expected since products aren't being produced at anywhere near the quantity we expect them to.

Short term discomfort is worth the saving of lives.

^^^^ This. Staff is at bare minimum..

I have ordered a lot of stuff from basspro the last week and was able to get the free two day shipping on all three orders and it arrived no issue of time or stock. They would be worth looking into in my opinion.

I emailed them about it and they said it’s due to minimal staff

Expect stock of all kinds of items to not be available.  Lot of manufacturing places are closed down which means they can't replenish supplies.  My business is going to run into it shortly as my parts vendors are starting to get low on supply since the manufacturers are closed.

I got an email from a vendor about how many G Loomis NRX rods are in stock, and that they weren't expecting orders to be filled until the factory in Washington is able to reopen.  Timing is terrible, because I had about $10k lying around, just didn't what to do it, and I was going to replace all my current rods with NRXs.

I think that I'm about as likely to run out of tackle as I am hair dye (evidently that's in short supply too).

I called & placed a order today. They told me the shipping date is 5/5/2020 & it coming by ground & it would take about 7 days to reach me in S.C.. I was also told I would be notified if shipped earlier & that is when my card would be charged. I might have found someone shipping sooner but I have been dealing with them for years & always have had excellent service. It's not there fault this happened so I opted to to place my order. I normally pay the $5. for the 2 day air. they don't have that right now so I'll just wait for it to get here.

Me too. I was pretty surprised when they said my fish finder would be here in 3 days, and it was.

I should probably order a bunch of Keitech now then.  I go through a lot all summer.

Unavailable probably because a lot of it comes from China which is / was also shut down.

TW shows a lot of stuff I buy on backorder but nothing I buy is listed as unavailable.

What's that? I've never heard of it.

Not to mention, there are so many of us stuck at home we are probably ordering more tackle than usual.  I know I've put in 3or 4 orders in the past few weeks because I spend too much time here and keep seeing something that sparks my interest.

Why hasn't TW created an App?

That's been a problem here as well.

My orders go to my wife's office and she just recently asked " what's going on ? "

placing 3 or 4 orders in that time period is only making the problem worse.  figure out everything you want and do one large order if possible to limit the processing time

It would be amazing if I were that organized while trying to work from home and take care of 3 kids while the wife works from home as well (not a good combination).  There are a lot of little things that I would normally run to the store for, but at the moment we still limit those runs to necessities.  It is what it is.  In the end.. I'm sure TW will appreciate the extra business and I'm ok with waiting the extra lead times.

I understand that one!  I normally have all my orders go to my office and then they move to the house as needed in one bunch.  We are able to keep our office open by swapping out who is there, so we decided no packages for the moment to limit interaction.  Not sure my wife likes the amount of Amazon and TW boxes that show up at home.  8-)

TW only has staff there a couple times a week as they are not technically open. They are also shipping smaller orders first before bigger ones. I placed a small order and got it in about a week. I also placed a $600 order of cranks and jigs and it took three weeks. They are just trying to work as efficient as they can.

I had to cancel my TW and reordered with BPS since they do free 2 day shipping.  My TW order was going to take 2-3 weeks.
