Larceny this evening. They had the holiday gift boxes on display at the store. Got a free rocks glass and a flask.

Saving them for Thanksgiving. A customer of mine asked about my last name. My ancestry is Italian on my mothers side and Bohemian on my fathers side. This customer is Czech which is Bohemian and immigrated here from the Czech Republic. My father is 3rd generation in the good ol' USA. I helped my customer get some things figured out and he tipped me with beer from the "Old country". Dad is looking forward to having a couple.

 

As people who were in the Zoom-meet earlier can attest to - I enjoyed a Murphy's tonight while chatting.

Given I'm from "coffee country", enjoying an espresso martini tonight.

I have an 11 year old, probably seen that movie a dozen times over the years. Pretty sure it’ll be on the tv here again sometime in the next month.

The guy who wrote it is from Grand Rapids, Michigan so it has a local flair. Grand Rapids is referenced in the movie. Tom Hanks stars in the movie. There’s a Polar Express in @Michigander’s neck of the woods. It’s a good family movie. Started out as a book.

Yes, my home town is the current home of the actual engine that's in that story/movie. Still gives Christmas rides as long as you bought your tickets before it sells out.... In April. LoL

Typically, I drink Angry Orchard or Strawberitas. I'll have a Jack and Coke or tequila and Coke pretty often, too. I'm not too keen on anything too fancy unless I go to a restaurant that has a substantial variety. I keel things pretty simple when it comes to alcohol.

Elijah Craig Small Batch tonight - pretty darn good for a sub-$30 bourbon.

Tonight I'll be drinking a couple of Sierra Nevaa Narwhal Imperal stouts while putting up the Christmas tree.
